This place is amazingly cool. This is definitely your new style bar. You check in and get a card. You place the card on the screen and you pour your onwe beer. The have 24 different beers on tap and you get charged by the oz. I love this place because you can get a variety of beer cheep. You can also pour larger glass once you find one you like. The atmosphere is definitely modern, they also have a great out door seating section to. When I was there we sat out side and it was great to watch all the people around.

This is the first bar I’ve been to where it is self serve. The neat part is you give a credit card to the front, they give you a card to access the taps. There are glasses of all sizes to use, the taps have a digital display which is touch screen that provides all the information, description and price per oz of the beverage. Once you put your pour House card on the display, pour your beverage and watch the price meter rise as if you were pumping gas. It’s all pretty neat. This place is packed and when you’re ready to leave with your real credit card, you give them your pour House card and they charge you for what you have talleyed up. It’s fun! Great selection of beers. One issue is since one pours their own beers here, I see people pour a little splash and then touch the same glass to the tap and pour again after their lips have already touched the glass.
They charge by the ounce for your pours, but the pints can be more pricey than some places that pour the beer for you. But it is great to only pour a few ounces of something to try it without committing to a pint.

Shuffleboard! This is an absolute gem in Valpo. Chill atmosphere, awesome rotating taps, perfect location, and local owners who give a darned about their place.
It’s already great and they keep making making unexpected improvements quickly. Like when they updated the screen information above each beer, when they added more standing-bar spots, and when they added prepaid cards.

It was great. I loved the beer selection. I wish there were more tables, but hey, kudos to them for doing their part to help stop Covid. I was told you could bring your food in, so that would be awesome.

Always love stopping in to try all the different beers that they have here. I think it’s usually the same couple guys that work here and they’re always friendly.
They have games here, so it’s great for a small group hangout. I believe you can bring your own food in here as well!
