After 6 days in northern Michigan, but with meals and plans making a stop for my favorite ice cream flavor (mud) impossible, we found a Kilwins in Boyne City. The woman who was working was so kind and seemed as happy to serve us as we were to be there. Best ice cream in the best state (with the best view)

Wow, can you say expensive, pricey, extra mullah? However you say it be prepared to spend it. Super cute, clean, inviting atmosphere friendly staff but man oh man are you gonna pay, and I hate to say the two different chocolates I tried, I wasn’t very impressed. Maybe I should’ve just went for the $11 scoop of ice cream.

Very small. Seating only accommodates 8 persons. Very crowded ice cream and chocolate store. Not many options of ice cream. Most had chocolate flavor, which I am allergic to. Bought some chocolate from Dominican and Peru and it tasted like wax. Please stop selling this, it is terrible tasting 70-80% cocoa. There is better on the market. There is another ice cream store in town, next time, we will go there.
