I’ve been a couple of times and the food, atmosphere and service are consistently AMAZING!!

Valet is available so you don’t have to worry about parking.

My son and I both ordered the prime rib and grits. Yes, GRITS that are so fluffy and light you’d think you were on a farm. The beef was cooked to a moist perfection!! We tried the berry pancakes as well as the banana pancakes. Yummers time ten!!!

Justine made sure we enjoyed our visit. I’ll definitely put this quaint place on my top five!!

Brunch on a Sunday? Avoid.

Arrived 10.40, order taken 11.10 (poor server was throttling orders to a stressed & woeful kitchen), food out (wrong) just under 40 minutes later. All I ordered was a traditional breakfast: eggs, bacon, baguette, potatoes.

Scrambled eggs were disgusting, taters were simple but salted to oblivion. Bread was an oven-bake cibatta and was the hero, but not a baguette. Bacon was cooked but nothing special.

If you gonna offer brunch in a wannabe high-end French brasserie (it’s a nice space), perhaps hire and train enough kitchen staff to handle it – not that it was busy (I counted) maybe 6 occupied tables.

Lone server did the best they could – the service score is entirely a reflection on the kitchen & management

We found this place accidently and we are so glad we did. It’s just a really neat venue. Make sure to walk to the bathroom… I know sounds strange but such cool things to see. The drinks were good and made to perfection. The food was so good too… well worth a visit

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Justine, who is hands down one of the best servers we’ve ever encountered. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel genuinely welcomed — warm, professional, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive.

The restaurant itself is a hidden jewel tucked inside the Renaissance Saint Elm Hotel in downtown Dallas. Not only is it elegant it is also cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere that perfectly complements the outstanding service and cuisine.

Justine went above and beyond to make sure our experience was flawless. Her menu knowledge was impressive, her timing impeccable, and her recommendations spot on. You can tell she truly cares about her guests and takes pride in what she does.

If you’re in Dallas and looking for a place that combines exceptional service, delicious food, and a hidden-gem vibe, this is it. And if you’re lucky enough to have Justine as your server, you’re in for an unforgettable dining experience!

This was my worst dining experience of 2025. As someone who works at multiple hospitals in the Dallas area and eats out in downtown, uptown and north Dallas consistently this was the worst meal I’ve had in years. The meat and cheese board has 3 bread crumbs and a link of sausage with some pickles and the tiniest amount of cheese possible. The steak frites were disgusting. I have gotten steak frites at almost every restaurant serving them in Dallas and myself and 4 of the other dining members with me ordered the steak frites and we were all VERY disappointed. The steaks were all ordered medium rare and arrived with some parts being well done and other parts borderline raw. Not to mention how fatty and salty the cuts were. I will be telling EVERYONE I know to stay far away from here when coming to Dallas for shows at the Majestic or for any other reason. Nice hotel but you are ruining your hotel hosting this restaurant. Go anywhere else.

Swung by this place today for lunch after a few errands. The place was open during the holiday, I figure because it is part of the hotel. I’ve never been before. The description on Google is pretty accurate on the atmosphere. It is very classy, upscale vibe, well-maintained and clean. I was promptly greeted by the bartender Hannah, who gave me the choice to sit wherever I wished. I chose the bartop and was taken care of by her. We made conversation and she mentioned that she was relatively new to the restaurant, but she is very professional and seems to know the menu and hotel very well, already. Throughout my meal, I had four vodka martinis crafted by her. No complaints, they were good, and she was attentive. Before anyone gets onto me, I was using DART and made it clear to the one serving me that I would not be driving today.

I decided on just two courses for lunch, starting with the Crab Dip. The accompanying lavash chips were crisp and served warm, which was a nice touch. They worked very well with the dip, which was very creamy. Portion was pretty good, too, for an appetizer. For my entree, I ordered the Steak Frites, cooked medium rare. It came out cooked properly, presliced (the bartender, of course, did provide me a steak knife and other utensils before the food came out), topped with a nice persillade. Very flavorful, well marbled, and honestly a great deal at fourteen ounces, especially for a restaurant at a high-end downtown hotel. The frites were well seasons, not too hard or mushy, and paired very well with the aioli.

Attached to my review are a few photos, including the food side of the menu. It does say it on the menu, and the bartender Hannah made it clear when I sat down, but keep in mind that dishes with an asterisk are only available after 5 pm. Plenty of great options still available before then, including the Steak Frites I ordered. Your spending per person might not be as high if you don’t order four cocktails like I did, although, at 11 dollars a martini, their prices aren’t inflated or anything.

I definitely would like to return. The food, service, and atmosphere were all perfect.

I recently dined at this location and I’m from Charlotte NC. I often venture out to site see and try different restaurants in various cities I visit! However this go round I was stuck in a great way. The ambiance and food were both amazing but the icing on the cake was my server Justine she was a gem! Her expertise on the menu and customer service was star studded! 10/10! I would absolutely tell a friend to tell a friend!! I’ll be back soon and I hope Justine is working on my next trip! Signed Giselle from Charlotte!

Can’t believe how slow they were. I can’t remember the last time I had to wait a literal hour for my food. The single waiter also never refilled any of our waters the entire hour and 20 minutes we were there. The initial water cups they give you are also pretty small. I will say we had a large group of 11 people, however, we did make a reservation for 8 for noon/lunch. They should have been somewhat prepared for a large group. It seemed like they only had one waitress and likely one cook on staff at the time. I don’t blame the staff at all for our issues, it’s likely the owners don’t want to staff more people to save money. Even if it’s just two employees, it would have been nice if the waitress warned us of the wait so we could have gone elsewhere. One hour wait time is unacceptable, especially given that it was a Tuesday for lunch. I will end this by saying the bibimbap was amazing, and some of our group enjoyed their dishes. However half our group got the burgers and didn’t find them very good.

Good tasting Brunch. Coffee was good. Food delicious. They were short handed. There were a lot of empty tables but no one to clean them.

We went in for an anniversary creme brule and we were the only people there in the early afternoon. They were super nice and offered to give it to us for free. Thier bar area had many great pours of all kinds as well.
