We really love The Spot Creamery in downtown Ringgold. Love the decor. Workers were friendly, nice, and patient while we tried several different flavors. They have so many flavors! I really liked the banana pudding, chocolate bourbon truffle something (I can’t remember the exact name), raspberry sorbet, cotton candy, etc. Their scoops are BIG and prices are reasonable. We’ll be back for sure!

Stopped in after driving past countless times and seeing that it is consistently popular. I played it safer with my flavors since there are so many available and unfortunately no big menu anywhere with descriptions for some of the harder-to-guess choices (yes, I’m looking at you mysterious Little Blue Panda). So I had cookies and cream and a strawberry cheesecake cup. I’ve never had Hershey’s brand ice cream and these two flavors didn’t disappoint, both creamy and the flavorful strawberry cheesecake had little cheesecake chunks in it (as it should!).
The space itself is pretty crowded, with a few little tables and chairs but I could never picture myself sitting in to enjoy my treat with how the order line naturally snakes between the tables making you feel like you’re in the way. The only menus are just plain printed standard size pages in plastic stands that tell you how much for scoops, drinks and whipped cream. Again, no flavor descriptions.
I did notice that the decor of the store is mostly religious based quotes, not particularly something I’d expect to find in an ice cream shop.
This place is POPULAR so be expecting lots of children, a patient wait in like for at least 10+ minutes before ordering and mostly standing room only or outside for enjoying the treats!

This is one of the greatest ice cream places I’ve ever been to! The place has a very nice, Christian, family friendly atmosphere, which is kept clean very nicely. There’s plenty of seating, many options of unique ice cream flavors, and the best quality of all: It’s very affordable!
Payed for 2 double scoop cones and one single scoop kids cone. The price was only ~$15, and there was a large amount for how much we payed!
The bathroom was nice and very clean, and there were also canned soft drinks and bottled water, though we didn’t get any. Staff were kind and attentive.
All-in-all, a wonderful Spot.

The ice cream here is really great (Hershey’s brand) with a lot of unique flavors. I personally ordered the graham central graham cracker ice cream with the deep dish apple pie and the combination was wonderful with both flavors managing to stand out. My only complaint on the food side is there is no large visible menu anywhere so seeing the flavors is hard until it’s already your turn to order and that can be difficult with how popular this place is and how cramped the space is.
For those who may not be religious, the atmosphere may make you a bit uncomfortable as there are bible verses and quotes all over.
Due to the popularity the number of screaming children can also be a bit overwhelming.
Overall for the ice cream itself I would come back and would recommend trying it at least once, but may stay away due to some of the other factors listed above.

My husband and I visited yesterday. We really enjoyed the ice cream. My husband had the Orange Blossom and I had the Coconut with a scoop of Rocky Road also. The waffle cones are good. They have a nice selection of books to read while you are there. The atmosphere is definitely “family friendly”. I really enjoyed seeing the different quotes on the walls. It’s a sweet treat in downtown Ringgold.

Great tasting Hershey’s Ice Cream. Many varieties to choose from. Butter Pecan & Coconut was some of the best I’ve ever had. I believe they have Shakes, Sundaes etc. Service was excellent!

The ice cream was delicious. Prices were reasonable. The young man working was pleasant. He became extremely busy while we were there. The only thing I would change would be the throwing of used ice cream scoops. The noise made me jump every time one hit another scoop.
