⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My daughter and I were hungry and I happened to see we were nearby! Have been wanting to come for a while and was Leary about bringing a preschooler but decided to come anyway. I’m so glad we did! To my surprise they have a child’s menu that’s very affordable. The staff was super friendly, food was great! We had the meatloaf & mashed potatoes as well as the kids grilled cheese and fries. Everything was delicious! Kid & mom approved. We will be back soon to try dinner.
Five stars all the way! Great atmosphere and wonderful food. Beautiful place.

Wonderful experience! The whitefish and shrimp was the best fish I have ever eaten and the best grits I have ever eaten. My daughter, who is a vegetarian, ordered a salad. She said it was the best salad she had ever eaten. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely. Couldn’t ask for better!

Food was excellent, service very professional and the atmosphere had low music playing and the fire place was just right.

Upscale French inspired restaurant. EverYthing was delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating. My husband and I was celebrating our anniversary and we sat in the loft area. Perfect restaurant for a romantic meal. I had the honey apples wrapped in bacon and my husband had the escargot for appetizers. I had the duck for my meal and my husband had the red snapper. They were delicious as well. If I had to give one critique is it was definitely expensive. For example, the upsell price on the wine… A bottle of their house wine in the store sells for $9 and they charged $25.

Enjoyed meeting friends for dinner here. We all were very satisfied with the food. Beverages were ok. Ordered Beef Wellington, truffle pasta, chicken chalet, fig/pomegranate salad. Bacon wrapped apples for appetizer. Not too loud inside, nice atmosphere. They do have a children’s menu which is nice too.

I thought the ambiance and service was good. We ordered the pork belly, lamb shank, duck, brown sugar tahini salad, and two of the signature drinks. This is where I was disappointed. The duck was dry and overly salty. Almost like it had sat out under a heat lamp for a while. The sauce covering the lamb shank and grits was terribly bland, again only tasting of salt. Covering the grits in this sauce created a very weird texture for the grits. The pork belly app was decent but the salad was dry. My drink was a basil strawberry concoction. However it did not taste of much of anything besides alcohol. I read the reviews before going so I was baffled when I tried the food and nothing was tasting above average. At least I got some decent pictures as the food was presented beautifully.

Fantastic little place. Loved every bite. Great atmosphere. 5 star food with 2 star Inexperienced service. The restaurant wasn’t full and we waited too long for water refills and food presentation was distracting. (Entrees were not presented at the same time.) Even so, we will definitely be back when in the area.

Definitely 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hands down, Chalet Restaurant is now the best in town! The quality of food just keeps getting better. We started with the bone marrow appetiser and it was absolutely delicious, especially paired with the homemade sauce! For the main course, I had the lamb shank, which was phenomenal! My husband couldn’t stop raving about his steak, too.

The chef deserves all the recognition for the incredible meals, especially with the fall menu! ️ Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

We spent valentines evening this year at The Chalet Gourmet & it was a perfect decision for a romantic evening. Not sure what the venue was before becoming a restaurant but it was gorgeous both inside and out. Great place for a small reception.

When it comes to the food there were some highs and lows:

Bread: personally I didn’t enjoy the bread, my wife did. The waiter came and mixed Parmesan cheese and olive oil at our table to dip in. My wife ordered a side chalet salad and it was not good, but i am an iceberg/romaine lettuce guy, this was mostly arugula and other leafs.

I ordered the beef Wellington & it was cooked to perfection. The fillet could have been seasoned more, they relied a little to much on the other flavors to carry the dish. The breading and gravy was fantastic. My scalloped potato’s were also delicious. My wife really enjoyed her salmon, it tasted extremely fresh and was skinless which was nice to see.

For dessert I had the crème brûlée, it left some to be desired. Wife had the special Valentine’s Day dessert and it was GREAT! It should be on the menu every day.

Great service, beautiful location and the closest we will be to authentic French food for the next couple of years. They even brought us a rose and complementary chocolate with our bill. Check this place out!

*** may be a little “nit-picky” but the waiters used phone like devices to take our order, very efficient… but this is a high class restaurant that was not cheap, they should use a more elegant form of note taking to collect orders. I don’t mind paying a luxury if it is funding the food, but not the phone like devices.
