I came in around 12 pm and the customer service was terrible. I felt like I was being rushed just to order. All the workers were just looking at me and the darkskin girl with the tattoos was giving me dirty looks. Very unprofessional. This isn’t my first time getting this treatment either. I definitely won’t be going back as an owner of a place I would recommend hiring new people.

The smoothies at this location are consistently made great but can’t say the same for the bowls as of recent. The bowls used to be filled to the top so I thought it was a one off when I received 1 bowl not completely filled. I didn’t want to say anything but the last several bowls I have bought both yogurt and açaí are half filled. Not sure what’s going on but this location needs to do better. The photo attached is what I received recently when I opened my bowl after leaving.

The staff looked annoyed that we walked in. There was no other customers in the restaurant and we were not greeted.
I said “Hey, how are you doing “ and neither of the employees responded while one intentionally looked away and the other just stared across from me at the cash register. As a restaurant owner myself I would be very concerned if these were my employees!

I was just at the Tropical Smoothie 4344 Pleasant Hill Rd, Kissimmee, FL. I usually don’t leave bad reviews, saw a roach on the ground so I asked for a refund. I kept the scene calm and nice not to interrupt other diners. At first got asked “Was it dead?”. Then got proceeded to get told me asking for a refund “…Is not a reasonable request”. After a moment of silence, the request was made and the refund of $27.91 was issued. For future matters, as someone in Human Resources, with a PHR and Lean Six Sigma certification, I would advise trainings on customer satisfaction and brand. If a concern, in this case a huge roach next to me while consuming food made 2 feet from me, is presented in a quiet manner and respect you are presumably keeping customer satisfaction high and brand reputation still intact. However, if you do the opposite you end up getting public feedback and picture proof that could have been avoided.

New updated review, the owner of this establishment is absolutely horrid. Joe lacks customer service skills and I wouldn’t be surprised if his staff does too based on the way he handles things. How someone like this is in a management position I have no idea, but this is exactly how you lose loyal customers and money. His disgusting way of speaking to his customers will make you run from this location. I will never come back to this place, I will stick to Starbucks hands down. This guy has no idea how to manage a business, you’d rather lose a loyal customer base than make a situation right when bodily fluids are inside someones drink, no compassion or empathy for the situation, he’d rather blame his customers then take accountability for a situation that no one should ever be in. Even if it was an accident, there is a valid reason to be upset, but to make excuses and refuse to refund someone for something like that is just beyond me. This is how you lose loyal customers that would continue to spend money at your business but instead you’d rather ruin a customer relationship with this company. Joe claims that this was a banana piece with hairs sticking out of it but you guys be the judge of what this looks like to you.

I love coming here, I’ve been a regular ever since they opened about a year ago now. Charlene is one of my absolute favorite people, she’s very kind and knows my order by heart! I walk in and she’s already starting my smoothie. The smoothies here are also the best, as I’ve gone to other tropical smoothies and the texture or thickness of the smoothies is not the same sometimes. But here? Delicious every single time!

This has got to be the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Tropical smoothie. I made a mobile order because I’m on my way to work. They ask me my name. I yell them it’s a mobile order. This girl is making my drink and spills it. There is no urgency to remake my order. They keep making other drinks. When all the drinks are finished, I ask the girl, if my order was ready. She stares at me and says no. At this point I’m desperate. I put in the mobile order before all the other people even ordered. So I ask if they can cancel my order because I need to go. The cashier was the only one nice enough to ask for my name. Only then they found my drink stashed away on some shelf. So the drink was ready. The one preparing the drinks just didn’t care enough to check. I was excited for this location to open. It was my first and it’ll definitely be my last. Also, the measurements for this drink might be wrong. It’s chocolate covered Strawberry smoothie. I taste nothing but banana. ♀️
