Let me just start with saying, very clean, as soon as we walked in I could feel the positive energy and welcoming. The waitress we had, 1. Gorgeous, 2. Contagious smile, kind, friendly! The food was absolutely delicious & FRESH! Wish I asked for her name! And the cook was so kind, friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend this place 100%!

It was our first time having traditional Albanian food. It really was incredible. Our server was very nice and went through and explained what each item on the menu was. Both our dinners were well prepared and very flavorful. We will definitely be back soon!

What a serendipitous experience! We went there when they were almost closed, but they still let us dine in with them. Our server, Leona, was an Albanian angel. She explained everything to us on the menu. Y’all seriously, do the combo #1, and the stuffed bread. You’re welcome. I honestly felt like I stepped into another country. I immediately got the “family vibe,” and it just made me feel like home. I never had Albanian food before, but I am now a fan. It’s such a refreshing difference from American food. They don’t kill you with salty food. They let the food speak for itself. We tried the Albanian drinks too! How fun! If you’re looking for a cozy and family (non-dysfunctional) atmosphere with yummy food that makes you feel happy, try this place out. We went in a little grumpy and walked out so happy! Thank you for being the best unintentional highlight of our night, Troja Albanian Cuisine.

Very nice, small, family-run Albanian restaurant. We took our Albanian exchange student there and she felt like she was home. The food was great and the staff were super friendly. We’re vegans and they were able to accommodate us. Highly recommend.

Honestly a truly excellent experience. The staff are wonderful, kind and friendly. The staff very kindly explained everything on the menu. Everything is homemade and fresh. They keep the menu small and authentic so everything is delicious and fresh. We had the burek, Combo 2, and skenderbeg pule. All were delicious. I highly recommend visiting this family run, family friendly business. Can’t wait to return when we’re in Sterling Heights again

This restaurant is an absolute gem. I was here about two weeks ago for a business trip and stopped by to try something completely new.
The staff was extremely helpful, stopping at our table and explaining each dish, all of which sounded better than the last. The food came out hot and absolutely delicious. My first experience with Albanian food will definitely not be my last thanks to Troja with its amazing service and food.
I finished my meal with a dessert, I cannot remember the the name, but was a puffy pastry that was soaked or dipped in a sugar solution. It really satisfied the palette following the savory meal.

Definitely recommend anyone who wants delicious, not too heavy, with affordable prices food. A great team who served us at the very last moment when they were about to close. Made my way stateside from Windsor and Googled a Balkan restaurant with Cevapi. Troja came up and didn’t disappoint! The staff was great and friendly to all customers who came in. There was indoor and outdoor seating and kept clean and tidy. I ordered the 10 piece cevapi with bread and kajmak to go. It was ready quickly and came with coleslaw and cheese as well. It smelled so good I couldn’t resist digging in before I snapped a photo. Will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family. Thank you!
