Reviews
The food is exceptional. I had one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten — perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and bursting with flavor. The seafood was equally impressive, especially the tuna tartare and grilled shrimp appetizer. Every plate that came out looked like it belonged in a magazine.
Cocktails were a huge highlight too — creative, balanced, and presented with flair. I highly recommend the Smoked Old Fashioned!
Service was top-tier. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly — you can tell the staff really cares about what they do.
If you’re looking for a place that combines great food, creative drinks, and warm hospitality in an inviting atmosphere, Stekoa Creek is a must-visit. Already planning my next trip back!
Do not take kids with you; pretty sure that’s why we were seated all the way in the back by ourselves- we had our 3 teen boys with us. In the back corner where we were sat, was tons of gnats. Quite odd.
Ordered our food- AN HOUR later it came. Not even kidding, a whole hour and the place was not even close to being busy.
Tomahawk steak was $165 – ordered it medium, it was extremely well done. No pink at all. Evidently that’s what took an hour- to cook the tomahawk completely and fully. They took $60 off bill.
My order (that noodle dish in pics) was so cold and salty I didn’t even try to eat it- they offered to get me something else but no way I could wait another hour to eat. I just grabbed something from somewhere else when we left.
My youngest ordered the filet mignon and loved it.
Sides were good.
Besides the gnats- loved the atmosphere.
Our server was great the first hour, but once food came she never asked how anything was. We had to wait for her to eventually come over and then we told her. We were super nice about it- at the end of the day it’s just a meal. But she really couldn’t care less lol.
Don’t take kids, don’t get seated in the back and order easier to cook items and I’m sure you’ll have a great experience.
The menu? Just as impressive! We’ve tried several of their steaks, salads, appetizers, and cocktails, and every bite has been a delight. Oh, and the desserts? *To die for!* Seriously, save room for them!
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit. We bring all our guests here, and they always leave raving about it. The bar is fantastic, the seating is incredibly comfortable, and on certain nights, you can enjoy live music, which adds to the already great vibe.
If you’re in Clayton, do yourself a favor and experience Stekoa Creek, trust me, you won’t regret it!
For our entrées, we had the filet and a pasta dish served with asparagus and mashed potatoes—both were cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel special from start to finish.
My only critique would be the dessert selection—it felt a bit limited compared to the rest of the menu. Still, I’ll absolutely be back. This spot is a gem for anyone looking for elevated dining in the North Georgia mountains
Jason and the bar crew had endless drink options, including an extensive cocktail and non-alcoholic/ mocktail options, that truly offered something for everyone.
The food was exceptional! We savored the bone-in center-cut ribeye and the center-cut filet, both were cooked to perfection and topped with the rich Cowboy Butter. The sides – creamy bacon & jalapeño mac n’ cheese, garlic green beans, charred brussel sprouts, and the loaded twice-baked potato – were all equally impressive. For dessert, the southern rum pecan pie and warm buttermilk-glazed carrot cake were the perfect sweet finale.
This restaurant has it all: fantastic food, thoughtful decor, and outstanding service!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
