This Turkish restaurant deserves 1000 ⭐️.
3 days ago, my husband’s appointment concluded early and was conveniently located near downtown, prompting us to have lunch at this restaurant, which was highly rated and recommended when I searched for dining options in Downtown Salisbury.
We were very pleased with everything we ordered and impressed by the owner’s kindness, as it was evident by the free meal he provided to the homeless man who walked in and… was exemplified by his empathic response to my medical emergency.
Our overall experience at this restaurant exceeded our expectations – food was bursting with flavors and in generous amounts – oh and, we love the complimentary Turkish tea. Service was exceptional. Menu prices were very reasonable – so worth every penny! We look forward to going back!
To the owner of Mustafa’s Place Salisbury, I hope I didn’t cause any disruption to your business or other diners on that day we were there especially when the EMS arrived since they had to put me onto the gurney.
Thank you very much for your graciousness. I pray that your restaurant continuously thrives and eventually multiplies! We need more people like you who genuinely serve, and not just run a business. Bless your heart! ✨

I ordered beef kafta, which came with pita and salad, and I also ordered hot tea and baklava. SOoooo perfectly delicious definitely coming here again! It is run by family and it shows! Clean, nicely decorated with pictures of Turkey and other cultural items. Authentic and welcoming!

We went with another couple and it was a first visit for both of us. I found this establishment from Google Maps. The restaurant was very clean. You order food from the menu board, choose a drink from the case and select your own seating. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary food bar. There was rice, and many salad options to accommodate one’s tastes. For my meal, I selected the Chicken Kebap. It was fork tender on the skewer and delicious. The meal comes with fries which was a little unusual to me for a Mediterranean meal. Of course, no one twisted my arm to eat them! They were crispy and good, but I prefer rice as a side to something fried in oils. Rice is available on the bar. Overall, it was a nice change to try somewhere different while in town.

Everything I got tasted amazing even though it was a to go order they took their time and arranged it in a beautiful manner. If you love Turkish cuisine or you’re just ready to try something new, Mustafa’s in downtown Salisbury, NC is the place for you. The food is absolutely delicious (and homemade). The service is reasonably fast and friendly. It is made to order, so do expect at least ten to fifteen minutes to pass before you get your food. It is a small place, but has several four-top tables inside with a couple outside. They also have a couple of larger tables inside for smaller groups. You order and pay, then sit and they bring it out. The staff are ready to answer any questions and take your reasonable requests. The owner is super super nice if you get the chance to meet him between his stints in the kitchen. The lamb skewers are heavenly and the hummus is just plain yummy. It’s quiet and relaxing. I will be back!
