Giving 2 stars because the manager checked on us multiple times and tried to make things right, which we appreciated.
However, the overall experience was not great. The server did not sound friendly and the interaction felt uncomfortable. We were already ready with our order, but when we found out they were charging extra just to substitute fruit instead of French fries, we had to change the order and think again about what to get. While we were still deciding, the server asked “Are you ready?”, which made it feel like we were being rushed.
My papa is 73 years old and cannot eat too much oily food, which is why we asked for fruit instead of fries. It was disappointing that something like that wasn’t easily accommodated and instead came with an extra charge. The server also kept repeating “It’s a VALUE meal” over and over, which started to feel dismissive and honestly very annoying. My papa’s order is not even a value meal!
The manager did come over and tried to make it right, which we appreciated. But overall, the experience still left a bad impression. We will never come back to this location and will probably stick to our usual IHOP location next time or maybe just go somewhere else with better service.

Place is easy to get to. Place was clean. Service was great. Choice of menu was good. Decent priced. We were not rushed. One of the best IHops on Long Island. Our waitress Nathalia was super. Very professional, and knowledgeable

So I hit up the IHOP in Port Jeff today and honestly? Solid experience. First off, the place was super clean and bright—lots of windows, good lighting, not that weird diner dimness some spots have. It actually felt kind of cheerful to sit in.
Even though it was busy, service didn’t skip a beat. Our server, Nick, was on point—friendly, checked in just the right amount, and didn’t let anything slip through the cracks. You could tell he was juggling a lot, but still made it feel like we were a priority. Respect.
The food? Classic IHOP. You know you’re not walking out of there with a low-calorie meal, but that’s not why you go, right? The pancakes were the highlight (as they should be)—and the cherry on top? We got a free stack just for being in the IHOP Rewards program. Little wins like that make me weirdly happy.
Overall, it was a smooth and satisfying visit. Bright space, great vibes, and a free pancake stack? I’m in.

Been here before and had minimal problems but today I ordered Ihop pickup for brunch and when we arrived, we were told it was picked up already by staff, girl named Alexis. That just meant they don’t double check even the name of the orders before they go out, which is the bare minimum!
We were told to just contact Doordash support instead of remaking the order and then letting us handle it with Doordash support. They became rude and started ignoring my requests to ask about the order. Wasted over 45 mins of time and Alexis never even apologized or admit any fault for handing out the wrong order. Had my daughter call to talk to the manager but she was put on hold and the manager never even bothered to go to the phone.

Came with my family and we were waiting for over an hour for our food and it wasn’t even prepared properly. The pancakes were all soggy like if they had been sitting there for hours and they didn’t have the order right. And they still had us waiting for another 20-30 mins to get the order right. Very disappointed in the service and how we were treated. Never coming here again!

Is this a joke? I order from uber eats (was $40 for 2 people) and I’m sent what is essentially 2 kids meals. The pancakes are tiny and probably aren’t even 4 inches across. Eggs exploded everywhere due to poor packaging. Pancakes look like a kids menu size, total scam. Will never come back and will actively be telling people never to visit an ihop, especially after they canceled all their value menus and are extremely expensive

V: Loaded hash browns, extra crispy, cheddar jack, roasted cherry tomato, peppers & onions, w/ s/o salsa or veggie omelette add crispy potatoes…otherwise they have awesome pancakes but is just a dessert shop masquerading as breakfast.
