New York Lunch has been an Erie traditions since 1927. Stephen and Nina took ownership in January of 1970 at the ages of 34 and 30 respectively.

Love this place coming here since I was a kid and now I bring my kids here. Love the 10 burgers with large fries special. Moved out of town 13years ago and everytime we are in town we get two specials to go knowing one will get eaten on way.

Unfortunately, I don’t get to eat out as often as I like to anymore but the food is like Grandma’s it’s mostly family run, and they’re friendly and cheap, easily one of my favorite places in the city.

The staff are absolutely phenomenal. Food is damn good. Only not so god thing is location. Not horrible but, not a good part of the city. But the staff and food are worth it. I can’t say enough about how great they are and the food.

Love ! Been coming here since I was 5yrs old now 21 and moved away but come here every time I visit Erie! One of those “you know you’re from Erie if” . Definitely a huge home town favorite. I always get the Greek dog, Greek burger and gyro . Food has remained consistent through out the years. Always delicious always a fair price. Not much remodeling of the place itself but I don’t mind at all. It’s in good shape and takes me back to my childhood. The owner really cares about his business. He is there nearly everytime I’ve ever been there. Great atmosphere and great food!

I been going here for years now It’s a small family owned business and the owner keeps prices low and gives you a lot for the dollar. Thanks Tim for the great service and memories. Try the half ponder hamburger it’s my favorite and if you have friends over and watching the football game try the football special you can’t go wrong with that deal.
