The pizza was perfectly crispy! When you lifted a slice, it didn’t flop at all. I also loved that they offer the option to do half-and-half pizzas, which was perfect since I went with a couple of friends and we wanted to try several combinations.
We ordered half Demon Big Girl and half Demon Pig Boy, plus half The Plain Pie and half The Chrissy, and the Red Top, which is a vegan option. We added pecorino and anchovies to the Red Top, and it was absolutely amazing.
To start, we had the tahini caesar salad, which was also really good.
I would 100% recommend this place!

We ordered the Tahini Caesar salad and a pizza. The salad was AMAZING, truly outstanding, and the pizza was just as delicious. Both dishes exceeded our expectations and were even better than we anticipated. The food quality is absolutely top-tier.

As for the service, it was disappointing. We asked three times for the salad to be served first, but the pizza still arrived before the salad. I even looked around at the other tables to see if service was generally delayed, which would be understandable since the restaurant is very trendy and busy, but the table next to us arrived after we did and received their entire order before we even got our salad. That was frustrating.

Additionally, there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill, which feels hard to justify when the service experience doesn’t match the food quality.

Incredible food, but the service needs significant improvement.

Make ya rez and pull up… No but in all seriousness the pizza is bomb and the Caesar salad is the real deal, best I had in my life and I don’t like salad.

Annie is a great server, super chill and friendly and made some great recs…

This was our second time, first visit we tried the demon pig boy and it was too spicy for my liking. This time the carmelita was perfect classic style pizza. My friends really liked the white pizza the Cosmo moon.

We also ordered a plain pizza with garlic pepperoni and hot honey, the hot honey isn’t spicy and probably masked the garlic a bit.

Next time I’d do pepperoni garlic and onion and skip the honey.

10/10 worth the wait!

Absolutely blew my mind away! Incredible authentic pizza made with good ingredients. You can taste the sauce and cheese in every bite. I loved everything about this pizza. The chicken sausage pizza was incredible and just the perfect amount of spice. This pizza was an easy 9.5/10. What I loved most was not feeling bloated after. Having eaten pizza all over the world I can honestly say this is a top 5 worldwide pizza joint for me. I will be coming back 100% this place is a must try.

Fratesi’s is a classic pizza spot tucked into a sketchy part of downtown Miami. Inside, it feels like an old-school diner. Checkered tablecloths, wooden chairs, nothing fancy. Just a low-key, no-frills vibe.

The pizza is good. Thin, crispy, with a solid undercarriage, as Portnoy would say. There are no fancy ingredients and not many choices. You start with a basic pie and add toppings for $2–$3 each. Oddly, mushrooms aren’t available due to “too much prep work.”

We ordered a half pepperoni, half anchovy pizza. It was good, but not noticeably better than other well-known pizza spots around town. Nothing that really stood out.

The Caesar salad, on the other hand, was more interesting and memorable than the pizza itself.

My biggest issue is the price. $33 for a pizza feels excessive. This isn’t a case where you can blame build-out costs or sky-high rent. It comes off as pure pricing greed. Especially when you compare it to La Specialita, where the pizza is cheaper and significantly better. A fully built-out spot in the Design District, with more and fresher ingredients, is charging less than a hole-in-the-wall downtown. That comparison is hard to ignore.

I want this spot to succeed, they have a good product. But the pricing needs to come down to earth.

Fratesi is a great spot for authentic New York–style pizza with a clean, focused menu that keeps things simple and intentional. Service was friendly and efficient, though we did wait about 30 minutes for an indoor table. Once seated, the food came out quickly. The real standout of the night was the Caesar salad — truly a must-order and surprisingly memorable. One pizza we ordered was extremely spicy and hard to finish, but the second pie more than made up for it and was very solid overall.

Best pizza in Miami. I would describe their pies as a cross between tavern and NY style pizza. Very thin and crunchy crust that holds up, delicious sauce, and perfectly balanced toppings. I like to get a Half Demon Pig Boy and Half Demon Girl. The boy is more savory and spicy, while the sauce and banana peppers on the girl make it slightly sweet. Going between one slice and the other is a great flavor experience.

I prefer to take out, if you want to dine in definitely make a reservation. They’re always busy!

After looking at some negative reviews I’m very disappointed in humanity. Non of them have valid points. People complain about parking need to complain to the city about finishing Flagler street. This one person posted a picture of a perfectly cooked pie saying it was burnt, another said the crust was too thin. The crust is an edible plate for delicious sauce and toppings. If you want undercooked and doughy pizza, go to little Caesars.

Lastly price, yes after tax and gratuity these pies aren’t cheap. However, the flavor and texture are definitely worth the money. There’s a lot of labor and love that go into these pies and this place deserves its flowers.

One of my favorite pizzas in the world. Unlike any other one I’ve had. The ratios are perfect, not too cheesy not too saucy and not at all doughy. Just a perfect crispy balance. Vodka pie is special. Probably not gonna get a walk in table at peak times, but that’s ok, the best places are worth making a reservation for. I do usually get take out though, the pizza keeps pretty well due to its crispy base. Just a proper proper pizza pie.

Fratesi’s absolutely delivered. The pizza was perfectly crispy—when you lifted a slice, no flop. The option to do half-and-half pies was a huge win since I went with friends and we wanted to try multiple combinations.

This is a classic, old-school pizza spot tucked into a slightly sketchy part of downtown Miami. Inside feels like an old diner—checkered tablecloths, wooden chairs, nothing fancy. Just a chill, no-frills vibe that lets the pizza do the talking.

The pizza itself is thin, crispy!! No fancy ingredients, no overwhelming menu. You start with a basic pie and add toppings for about $2–$3 each, which keeps things simple and focused.

But let’s talk salads, because they’re unexpectedly excellent. The arugula salad is simple but so fresh — just crisp greens with lemon, olive oil, and shaved Grana Padano that tastes incredibly bright alongside the rich pizza. And the other green options (including their Caesar-style salads) are very well-made and refreshing;

They have four or five beers On the menu. As well as a handful of red and white wines.

Pro tip: make a reservation. We had one for 9:00 PM and showed up on time, but the hostess was incredibly kind and suggested we wait in case of a cancellation—and it worked. We got a table shortly after. Huge thanks to her for being so accommodating.
