Cafe on Main is definitely a great place to visit. I was impressed with the simplicity of the cafe. I was greeted with a smile and given the choice to sit at my desire table.
Brittany attended to me with very good recommendations from the menu. I must say, I liked that the menus are on the table and it requires you to fill in your name and pick your meal. The service by Brittany was fast and I must admit the flavors provided on the dishes I choose were delicious . My hat comes off for the chef’s… I would definitely recommend trying Cafe on Main. Great food and service. Thank you Brittany.

Had a Sunday lunch here. The staff was very friendly. The menu was pretty simple. You circled what you wanted on a paper menu and it brought out to you pretty quickly. It was good Southern home cooking. I had the hamburger steak and it was really good. The sies/vegetables were delicious too. We did not try any desserts but they looked really good. Maybe next time. I would definitely go again.

ordered today for lunch and the main on one meal was missing and the side on another was missing. it’s insanely ridiculous to send a plate with two sides two rolls and no main. then to not even put the other side on the second one.

I loved the old building and atmosphere. The waitress was so sweet. But the food is not good. The fried chicken is so hard. The cornbread dressing is awful. It just tastes like they prepare all this food and let it sit under a heat lamp. My husband wasn’t impressed either.

The food is good, home-style, Southern eatin’. The entrees and sides are what you’d expect from a Mississippi cafe and while I really like them, I REALLY love the desserts! In fact, I like them so much, I usually eat a side or two of veggies and make one of their HUGE pieces of cake my “entree”. Not even kidding. Their Heath Bar Cake is my all-time favorite.

Me and my girlfriend went to go eat, and the food was delicious, the dessert was even better. I got the fudge brownie sundae! Our server Alexis did a great job serving us and made sure we had everything we needed. If you come to Cafe on main I would definitely suggest sitting in her section!

Great historic little place. Servers were friendly. Food was good. It was great little place to go after church. It was not a top tier food place, but wasn’t expecting to find that there. It was a great lunch special and waitresses were funny and great to talk to.

The food is good. I like going when I need a quick meal. Recommended if you need a takeout option. Inside service is good too, just not my usual. They are super sweet and always have a smile. Highly recommend if you are looking for good home cooked food in downtown Columbus.
