This place is a fantastic hole in the wall! The food was perfect and cook to order. With the ribeye steak being tender in the eggs, bean cooked to order.

Most importantly was Rachel my waitress. There are 13 tables and five counter seats and she was working by herself. There were tables of eight and everywhere in between that. She handled it was perfection praise, and was able to meet everyone’s needs making it seem as though there was no effort put involved. If you have ever been a waitress, you know that that is not the case and it’s an extremely hard job. I never heard anyone complain about anything in anyway and it’s just a wonderful, wonderful, comfortable, relaxing restaurant.

No problem finding a table. Staff was right there at the table. I had to tell my server that we might need a menu since we had never been there. Drinks ordered. Drink sent back. Ordered Pepsi got diet. New drink, not any better, had to order water. I ordered the classic with ham. Came with 2 pancakes, not done, not even remotely cookes on the bottom. There was black flakes of burnt crap from a dirty grill embedded in the pancakes. Yuck! Hash browns, not done, potatoes still pale and kinda hard. Eggs were pretty close to over medium. Ham, first off ham is fully cooked when you purchase it or its not ham. So cooking it until its well done on both sides, just ignorant. My husbans order wasn’t much better. He did say the biscuits in his biscuits and gravy were fluffy. But as for the gravy. Well no matter how much salt and pepper was added it was still blah. Server was overeager to ask if anything else was needed but only in passing, if your going to ask, at least wait for the response. $30 plus tip for breakfast should at least be a pleasant dining experience. Don’t expect that here. We just moved to the area, we will keep trying new places and add this to the list of Don’t Do That Again.
I have to add something that might explain this review. Sitting in the car to leave, a male drags the trash out the back door, then fires up his weed.

This place was little town Kansas! Waitress was super friendly and spot on with service. I had the pork chops with veggies and REAL mashed potatoes. The chops were tender and moist. My husband had breakfast and he said it was very good and cooked just like he liked. Omg and when you go there don’t forget the pies and cinnamon rolls. We had the lemon pie omg scrumptious!!!!! We will be back for sure!!!!

Good food. Great service very friendly. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit for your food because their so busy and they cook to order. But excellent dinner we go at least once a week and all items on menu breakfast lunch and dinner served all day.

An unassuming little metal building by the side of the highway, but pretty decent food and good service inside. I got a Reuben and some fried ravioli. Food came out fast, but everything was pretty greasy. Not unexpected for what it is, but greasy nonetheless. The Reuben itself was a little odd, with chunks of what I guess was corned beef instead of sliced. Couldn’t really differentiate the toppings, but I guess it kind of tasted like Swiss, sauerkraut and thousand island? Overall it’s just fine as far as food goes, and I’d probably return and try other menu items the next time I’m in Parsons.

The stains on the curtains and ceiling should have been a sign. I ordered a Hamburger steak mash taters and corn.. No taste to the Cold hamburger steak the corn was under cooked and cold mashed taters were OK never saw any kind of break onions or brown gravy. Service was good but goto the truckstop they have better food.
