This is my favorite BBQ place in Chattanooga by far. The pulled pork is smokey but still moist. The quality of the food is consistently good. They’re only open for lunch during the week, so you know the food has to be great to be successful with limited hours. Portions are generous. It’s a grab and go place, but there are a couple of picnic tables if you don’t have anywhere to take your food to eat.
If you want BBQ, this is Chattanooga’s best.

What a fantastic surprise. I work as a contractor for the railroad transporting crew members and I wanted to stop and get food before they headed to their hotel. I had no idea that this place existed for the last 2 years I’ve been coming down here. What a fantastic small hole in the wall barbecue joint this is.
This place stays busy until they run out of food. Quick Service great food. What else can you say?

Choo Choo is one of the best lunch spots in the area. You’ll be met with friendly service that will remember your name after just a few visits. They have a large menu with tasty items across the menu. Call ahead for the quickest service because it’s a very popular spot and typically has a long line every day.

Nicest folks around! We get lunch here several x a week. Today was fried chicken legs and oh my goodness! 3 legs, fried okra and pinto beans with cornbread. I ate every bite – best plate of food ever!

Awesome little place. Great food. Big menu. Good service. As you walk up to the front porch to order, you can smell the BBQ smoking out back. As you walk up to the window, the window will slide open and a lovely young lady will be chomping at the bit to take your order. They do take credit cards and cash. As you wait for your food you can sit on a stool and check your Facebook or Twitter or whatever.

This roadside BBQ spit serves up pulled pork, pulled chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, and a slew of sides. Most get food to go, but there are picnic tables to eat at. All the dishes come out hot and fast. Be sure to get some sweet tea!
