Is it the best burger in Burlington? I don’t know, but it’s the best burger I’ve had in Burlington. The bacon jam , the cheddar, the soft bun. I’m always impressed with Bleu. They could easily settle and just be another run of the mill hotel restaurant serving heavy pours and mediocre food, but their chefs do not compromise. I come here on business quite often and one of my stops is always Bleu. The menu is approachable but at the same time exciting. The service is always great and you forget you are staying just 2 floors above.
There are a ton of options in Burlington, but I would strongly suggest making Bleu a stop on your culinary adventure.

As a foodie Montrealer now living in Burlington, this is easily my favourite restaurant in Vermont. The menu is seasonal and fresh, the food is incredible quality, and the serving staff is both passionate and knowledgeable!! Tonight, Jessica was our server and she was friendly, kind, thoughtful, and intuitive with her suggestions. This has been our experience with all the servers and food that we’ve had at Bleu. Our favourite dishes over the past two years have been the Lobster Tail Fusilli, Squid Ink Calamari, Steak Frites (with Mushroom Shoyu Cream Sauce), and Lamb Bolognese. The calamari photo doesn’t do it justice, and I ate the others too quickly for photos. They also have beautiful live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Do not assume that this is just a general Marriott Hotel restaurant, it’s far superior than that and should be viewed as independent from the hotel, I promise it’s worth your while! While I’m glad that it’s not packed full of people, it’s only a matter of time before people realize what a hidden gem it is!

Had a really great time here. Went for an anniversary and it was the perfect ambiance. Our server was very pleasant and nice. I ordered the arctic char and my partner ordered the market fish, and they both were delicious! We ordered the delicata squash and bread for appetizers and they were scrumptious! I was sad they were out of the clam chowder but will just have to go back another day! Would definitely recommend and I wish it wasn’t dark so I could have seen the stunning view of the water!

Kendell was very patient and extremely helpful. We had kids in our group and she was very friendly with them and entertained them.
There was an issue with our order and the management were very apologetic and took care of it.
Food is really good. The duck confit was excellent, the bread was warm and soft, pasta with ground lamb was very flavorful.
The restaurant is located within the courtyard and the atmosphere is very good. Definitely recommend the place.

For dinner, I had the chicken, which was phenomenal. I had the pleasure to try the lamb boulognaise as well, and it was so flavorful, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. I had the Whistle Pig Manhattan with dinner, which came with a large rock. It was prepared well, and I thoroughly enjoyed the drink. The best for last was the homemade orange ice cream with candied orange peel. It is now my second favorite ice cream. I am not an ice cream person, and I ate it all. I am from AZ, so this was sadly a one and done one this ice cream.

We ate here tonight and it was as good as ever. Literally everything from the food, to the service, to the ambience is spot on. Every time we’ve been, the wait staff has been so invested in our experience that we’ve never had a bad one. They know all of the little details and quirks of the menus and truly make it special. The food is so fresh but also unique and so well done. Cocktails are spot on too (even the NA ones, can’t say enough about those ).

We were famished and had a few of their entrees to share, it was more than enough food!
We had fries, crunchy and fresh, salty enough but could serve with more mayo.
The seafood chowder was good but could be thicker. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the corn salad complemented them nicely but it could use a bit more salt. The sliders were a nice surprise, lots of ingredients that worked very well paired together. We adored the whipped cheese toast with peaches and cured ham. The lemony flavor of the cheese and the softness of the brioche bread were perfection.
The service was very nice.
It’s a hotel restaurant and the vibe checks in. During our dinner, they had live musicians.
Overall a great experience.

Such a welcoming, open, and airy dining venue. Located within the Marriott Hotel in downtown Burlington, this offered quality fare with an extensive rotating menu.

A nice place to eat in downtown Burlington, VT with good food and live music. A few gf options available on menu and our waitress checked with the kitchen to make sure food was safe. We ate here a few years ago and the menu seemed more adaptable. My husband’s chicken dish had nice seasonal flavors of delicata squash, kale, and pomegranate juice. My oysters were delicious. My Arctic Char was served over a harissa sauce which was mildly spicy, the asparagus, corn, turnips and beets sort of got lost in the dish. We enjoyed a lovely view of the sunset too. The live musicians were wonderful and we stayed after dinner to listen to them play in the lounge area next to the bar.

It’s shockingly difficult to find a good chicken dish in town and this restaurant delivers! The plated accompaniments are good but the a la carte carrots with the maple miso glaze are truly outstanding. The salad with lemon vinaigrette is also a winner. Definitely a local favorite of ours! While the service may not be as polished as the food, that could be largely corrected if the servers were required to write down orders. We’ve had drinks prepared incorrectly and side dishes forgotten due to careless oversight. Errors are always handled appropriately, it’s just rather an avoidable nuisance. We rotate through the local ‘finer’ restaurants in town every weekend. We enjoy Bleu for its warm atmosphere and consistent high quality menu.
