Ordered a large spread and everything was AMAZING. The fish was fresh, the nigiri was beautifully prepared, and even the gyoza was perfectly crisp. We had a mix of rolls, sashimi, and specialty items and genuinely enjoyed all of it.
I almost didn’t order after reading some mixed reviews, but I’m so glad I did. Our experience was excellent and would absolutely order again. Thank you Yumi!!!! :)))

I apologize beforehand as we were incredibly hungry and ate the entrees before we took pictures of them.
This place has become our new go-to. The staff are incredibly polite and attentive. I’ve been here twice now. First time was too good to be true. Second time just confirmed it for us. Wonderful fresh fish, and amazing rolls. I would definitely order a bento if you’d like to save a little. Will be coming back again and again. Would say it’s the best in the area!

My all time favorite place for sushi and sashimi. Its amazing. The service is great and the food is fresh and flavorful. You can tell they all love what they do here! We have been coming here since 2021 when we first moved to Fallbrook and when we are hungry its our first choice. We order delivery a lot, but love stopping in from time to time to enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Went for lunch today and got the new Viking Roll, it comes out on fire!! It was so delectable!! So rich and savory! It’s spicy salmon, cream cheese, avocado on the inside then outside is baked salmon, and scallops with spicy mayo.
Love their bento boxes, they have lots of good options and large portions.

I’ve eaten here about 10 times now and each time there is something wrong. Sushi is great, everything else taste like microwaved frozen food. The ramen is 100% a pack of cheap noodles with powder broth mixed with water. When I order pickup they don’t bother to look at special instructions. I’ve been given a single napkin multiple times. Service in the restaurant is slow. 10+ minutes to get waters and drinks. Which sucks because I prefer their sushi over Yama in town.

Last night we went to Yumi Sushi, a restaurant we used to visit often. Unfortunately, we’ve decided we won’t be going back anymore.
The service was very slow, and no one came to check on us to ask how the food was or if we needed refills. The baked roll we ordered was undercooked, and the fried appetizer was overcooked and tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in a long time.
After we got home, we both had stomach issues. The food quality is not as good as it used to be.
Sadly, we won’t be returning. We would recommend Yama Sushi instead.

Great rolls, garlic edamame and bento boxes. Service was off when we came. For a non-busy period we kept asking the same waitress for the same items over and over but never got our soy sauce plates, or wasabi/ginger, until well after our rolls arrived. I would get takeout but would not dine in again.

Me and my husband did delivery randomly because I wasn’t feeling good and they were one of the only places we could find to get delivered. We spent a good amount of money as not everything is pictured but we got the midnight sun roll and energy roll which were absolutely amazing! My husband loved the chicken bowl too. The edamame was a total surprise which was so sweet. Didn’t get to see the actual restaurant but definitely will be going back!

My friends and I stopped at this small sushi restaurant after a long day in the sun visiting the avocado festival. We were a bit confused at first since there was no one inside but then a voice in the back welcomed us in. We were seated by a friendly waitress who was both funny and helpful. And while we figured out what to order, she surprised us with shrimp tempura on the house!
One of my friends is vegan and the waitress was extremely sweet about helping her out, she pointed out all the items that would fit her dietary guidelines and gave suggestions for what might taste good. For my own order, I chose the three items bento box which came with miso soup, rice, and salad. For the items, I picked the spicy tuna, sushi, and sashimi. My other friends ordered a variety of sushi rolls and bento boxes.
The food did take a while to be prepared, though this could be caused by the restaurant being a small establishment and there’s only one sushi chef. If you do come to visit, please be patient since everything is made to order. Once everything came out, I was pleasantly surprised by how large the portion sizes were. Both the sushi and sashimi were large cuts of fish and they were very generous with the amount. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, I enjoyed my bento box.
