Whenever I’m in town during their open hours I always try to swing by. The sandwiches are as fresh as you can get, the caramel bars are the best you’ll ever have, and the friendly staff can’t be beat.

Cute, tiny sandwich shop. The staff are really friendly. The sub bread was super fresh as were all of the toppings. The grinder special has one thin slice of each meat and a bit of lettuce, a few mucro thin slices of tomato and cheese. I will not be back. For a 12 dollar lunch bag one would expect a helardy amount of toppings.

On a 12 hour road trip and my wife wanted to stop here. The place is named “Grinders”, but their signature grinder sandwich is horrible. Barely any meat or cheese on the sandwich, bread is falling apart. Miles down 90 I opened the sandwich and noticed the sandwich lacked banana peppers, only had one slice of ham and salami thick across the sandwich, no onions, no salt or pepper. I told the woman taking my order that I wanted everything on it; this would have been the time to inform the me that it doesn’t come with much. I was expecting something closer to an Italian grinder, but got a really sad ham sandwich. Recommend changing your recipe.

My husband finally got to take me here. He talks about this Deli all the time because he grew up eating here. The only complaint I had was that the bread was a little too soft. It didn’t hold any shape, so you had no choice but to use both hands to eat it. Otherwise, it was very good.

This sandwich shop is hands down the best in town for subs and sandwiches. The grinder sub and caramel bar were incredible, and their secret mayo-based sauce was delicious. While waiting, I also enjoyed looking at some old photography of the town. Supporting this small business is a great choice.
