Awesome food and atmosphere! The spicy fried chicken is super spicy and tasty! Red beans and rice are great with tons of flavor! You will not leave hungry as they have huge portions. Diffidently a great place to stop to eat in Idaho Springs!!

Excellent food and service! I didn’t expect this to be counter service but it was great. We went in for appetizer and got fried pickles and boiled shrimp with two southern beers. The food as fantastic. The best fried pickles I’ve ever had. The beers were yummy too!

Delicious southern New Orleans comfort food in Idaho Springs.

Clean interior friendly staff and huge portions make this a must try when traveling through. On the main street so parking is limited but wasn’t hard to find on a mid afternoon.

Fried chicken and catfish were ordered and the batter and crunch of the chicken definitely wins. The catfish is no slouch and both came with two sides. The handcut fries were crispy, salty and just awesome. The fried okra was good followed by decent red beans and rice tailed by collared greens that just didn’t wow. No worries as there are plenty of other sides to try.

Beer and soft drinks/tea (sweet and unsweet) available.

I believe they have dessert bit we were too full to try.

Must come back to try more of Da Rivuhs other options.

Neat modern southern place. Friendly owners, great food. Catfish was breaded while we ordered, Okra was good crisp and seasoned. Homemade coleslaw was creamy and good taste. Has plenty of seating, including outdoor patio.
Nice find on our trip

The food here was delicious! Amazing sweet tea as well. The owner worked with us for a dairy allergy for one member of our group, which was greatly appreciated. Try the beignets, they were great!

Excellent food, fantastic flavors! This is our favorite place to/from our mountain adventures. Portions are perfect, prices are good. Fresh flavors with a ton of home cooked love. Best fried chicken I’ve had. Best was food cakes ever! And I lived in South Fla most of my life. The owners are wonderful too! Highly recommended! Stop for a bite on your way from Denver to the Mountains or ski areas. Right off I70 at Historic Idaho Springs!!

Excellent food at reasonable prices!!! We both ordered the Southern Breakfast and sides of gravy, our only complaint was the grits and gravy were a bit cold. We understand that not everybody likes their food flaming hot though. A must stop when visiting the town of Idaho Springs!!! Our new favorite place for breakfast, awesome atmosphere as well!!!
