My waiter was very attentive and kind, good job on the service, thank you.
There is a full service bar here too!
I can’t say any of the dishes that I tried were over the top excellent, the food was just okay.
The dumplings were homemade, and packed with meat, however the brown sweet, Tangy garlic sauce it was served in, wasn’t my jam.
The Combination Lo Mein was packed with tons of shrimp and meat, however it sat in an excess of soy sauce, almost like a broth at the bottom on the platter.
The restaurant is quite large, with lots of seating, tables, and booths available, however on a Saturday evening, during dinner time, the restaurant was empty, I was the only one dining in. However there were plenty of orders for pick up with Uber Eats and Doordash, so business is definitely good for the locals are really into this place, as for me, not so much.
Very disappointing review rating 1.5
Both dinners didn’t taste like much and had more fillers like celery, cabbage and other veggies. Which can be normal, but it was more than the noodles and chicken. I did like the chicken though, it was good texture and decent quality.
The pot stickers were good as well, seared on the belly and had good taste to them. They were shoved in a rice container and made them a bit soggy but still good.
The crabrangoo was definitely just really cheap cream cheese with no trace of crab. They were only slightly crispy at the ends, and the rest was very rubbery and greasy. The cream cheese cooled to a weird texture and left a film in your mouth. Just dry and greasy and flavorless.
Two large dinners, a small rice, crabrangoo, and potstickers with a dip container of soy sauce all shoved into one bag. Was scared it was going to bust on the way home.
This man that runs it is a very nice guy, and I’m sure this business is hurting from the location and the cost of living and owning a business. They are take out only.
Personally I probably won’t be getting again, it definitely tastes like American Chinese food. But I hope this man and his business take account of the reviews and change some things and he thrives in the future. Good luck to Lee hunan restaurant!
It’s a shame I felt that way, because walking in I was feeling great about the friendly great service, and the atmosphere in general. Looks like a very clean place that I would be coming back to, to dine in. Unfortunately the food disappointed.
