I had a wonderful time with my daughters on Monday, and the service was wonderful. They were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and so was my drink. I liked that they offered hot tea and water right away, which many places I go to don’t offer, and they ask you what to order. But here, wow, wonderful service. They asked how everything was like 3 times, refilling our water. Every time they reached for it, my glass was half full.

Everything was tasty. I tried a few things here that I have never had and they were yummy. The spicy deep friend shrimp were amazing! These were a little bit more on the medium spic level other folks at the table enjoyed them. If you want a little kick they were yummy. All the dishes were good. I have not had pig ear before, and had a good flavor too. Lots of things to experience here and they were all very tasty.

We come here often and even visited for Christmas dinner last year — our experience is consistently exceptional.
Right off the bat this place is CLEAN. Floors, tables, everything is really tidy and sanitary.
You’ll be brought a pot complimentary jasmine tea right away which is heavenly. Truly the best jasmine tea I’ve had; not even remotely bitter tasting like other green teas. They must brew it very carefully.
The service is always speedy too, regardless of how busy it is, every time we are surprised by how quickly our fresh food is ready! They’re efficient in the kitchen.
Our favorite thing on the menu is the Garlic Fried Sole fish! It melts in your mouth and the portion size is massive so it’s a perfect entree to split.
The Asia Mall is fun to check out before or after dinner; we like to walk around the market afterward and take home some milk teas and candy. Parking is easy with the lot out front.
This really is a great destination; ever since Pagoda moved to Roseville we’d been missing our favorite Cantonese dishes and HomeTaste is easily the best Cantonese / Chinese food in the western part of the twin cities.

Service was good, visually food looked good but tasted horrible. I ordered the lobster special. It was difficult to eat in broken off pieces, maybe only 2 oz. of lobster in the whole thing and zero taste, whatever the glaze was actually very distasteful.

We had couple traditional Cantonese dishes and they taste authentic. The beef chow fun was a bit greasy than other places but the pot was really good. The fried fish was so so. We also brought the duck wings to go and that was pretty good too. Overall the food was good but pricer compared to other Chinese restaurants in Twin Cities.

Ate here for lunch with my girlfriend and was honestly pretty disappointed. The pictures people posted of the duck looked extremely good, so we were excited. We went during lunch and shared the 2 meat rice plate with duck and roasted pork belly, as well as the salt and pepper squid. The pork belly was excellent, but the duck was almost entirely bone/gristle and was super disappointing. Had an odd taste as well. Some of the squid was really tasty, the breading was perfect. But probably 50% of the pieces were overcooked and unchewable. We were also charged 21.95 instead of 12.95 for the squid and when I asked about it the guy was very confused and tried to say we ordered something else. But I even pointed to it on the menu when we ordered. We did appreciate the complementary tea, which was pretty good. Probably wouldn’t come back though, especially with the assortment of restaurant options in the same building.

I was somewhat excited to try this place since I have been craving Chinese food. This is not an authentic Chinese restaurant with Chinese food.
I ordered half a duck, 2 lbs of roasted pork, and Korean beef ribs, I asked if each dish came with rice, and the waiter said yes. When they brought out my food, I was surprised they only brought out a small bowl of rice. It was an awkward moment, but I didn’t make a big deal out of it. One thing I noticed was that I was the only person eating in the restaurant, and that says a lot. Food was average at best.
It was nice that I got complementary tea.

For all the people who didn’t give this place five stars, they probably have no clue how to order Chinese food.
I lived in Taiwan for over six years, and my husband is Taiwanese. This place is so tasty and authentic. The waiters are sooo sweet and polite, the food came out quick and we love it.
We always leave here very happy and satisfied. I recommend the fried squid appetizer and the chao mifen, (sorry I don’t know what it is in English)
Place is fresh and clean. Highly recommend. Go when it’s not super busy, like after rush hour.

We were there for lunch so the prices were a bit lower. Dinner prices are too expensive. Water and tea were brought out right away, which was nice for a large group. Mongolian chicken was very good, not very spicy. Egg rolls were delicious and the fried rice wasn’t very fried. The sole (fish) was too greasy and had a lot of spices sprinkled on top, I wouldn’t recommend. The chicken broccoli was wonderful as was the Mongolian beef. Server was outstanding and food came out fast!

Went to the Asian mall to meet up with the family. Came here to eat. Was not expecting such a great place to eat. Everything was good. Highlights for me were the noodle dishes. The staff was very friendly as well.
One of the little things I loved was that some tables had a turntable I the center. When my family goes out we all tend to order one or 2 things and we share them. Being able to put the sharebles in the center and turn for what we wanted was a nice touch.
