Sweetlane Chocolate Shop has the best chocolate in the Pittsburgh area! The classic shop paired with the intoxicating aroma of freshly made chocolates is something special. This place is a real historic part of Vandergrift and the owners Eric and Wanda continue that chocolate tradition. With awesome inviting displays, a large variety of handmade chocolates, the best milkshakes around, great gifts, and a smile for everyone who walks in the door. If you love quality sweets and small-town hospitality, Sweetlane is a must-visit, especially during the holidays when you’re shopping for Christmas or Easter candy.

Love this tiny store, it’s like going back in time. Lots of chocolates and they have ice cream,and a full menu if your hungry.

What an amazing little milkshake spot! I’ve lived in the surrounding area my whole life of 40 years and never knew this was here until my 15 year old daughter told me about it. I’m unsure what all they have, we only bought milkshakes and saw decedent chocolates!
For two small milkshakes (I would consider the size to be a medium though ❤️) with whipped cream and cherry it was I think $8 total and tasted Fabulous!!!

The best chocolate shop around. I love the old astetics like the counter, pictures and bar stools. The Hershey milkshakes are so good. They have all kinds of chocolates and flavors. They have some gifts for sale. We found a LOTR chess game. There’s figures too. Super cool.

Came here once myself and had to come back with more people. I love this place and the beautiful old timey atmosphere. It’s like stepping back into a time machine. The prices are cheap. The second time I came with my family was during the Witches Market last year and I guess they were out of vanilla ice cream. We sat down and looked at a menu talking to one another and the one teenage girl with blonde hair proceeded to say very rudely “We are all out of vanilla ice cream so do with that what you want.”

This place is amazing and affordable! They also (I’m not sure if they still do, there is a new owner) have unique candies that are hard to find, along with their own homemade ones. This place also has milkshakes, and just being inside the place is great! It’s so cozy and cute! If you live and Vandergrift or just visiting, I highly suggest you stop either way! I went here for the first time a couple of days ago and bad the best milkshake I have ever drank! The chocolates are all made by hand and absolutely beautiful! As well as the owners are some of the kindest easy to get along with people you could ever imagine in a little town like Vandegrift.
