The food taste like ones I had in the 90’s. $7 dollars meal. This is more like home cooked than a coffeeshop standard. Thanks for trying though. The lady at the shop was very kind and nice.

Delicious and affordable Ayam Penyet from Uncle Penyet.
Juicy; tender fried chicken with yummy curry rice is always good.
Only $6.50. I tried Uncle Penyet in Pasir ris hawker centre and it’s of the same quality at $6.80.
Highly recommend

Bot some beverages from the drink stall at UBI 33 FOOD HOUSE. Went back to ask for drinking straws. Reply from the lady( not politely): These drinks don’t come straw one!
Went back to my table and what did i see at the next table?? Drinking straw in the drink!!(2nd picture)
What’s with the different attitude/treatment?
Being in the Service Line should be more aware of attitude towards your customers.

Clean but small eatery with limited seats. Well ventilated. Tried the chicken bento set from the Korean store and the chicken portion was so generous. Rice was plump and perfectly cooked. Wished they gave more kimchi and ikan bilis.
Would return to try the other stores!
Ayam penyet 3.8/5, decent but stingy with chilli (with an extra charge for extra chilli) and 2 takeaway fees for one serving of ayam penyet.
Economic beehoon/noodles 1.5/5 (chilli banmee was sadly flavourless, noodles soggy and limp. The fried ikan bilis and mushrooms were good though)

So there I was, riding my bike to get to a 10am appointment when I come across this coffeeshop with this “Ah Hock” (it’s in Mandarin but the uncle was so kind to translate it for me) noodle stall.
I went with the Fishball with minced meat vermicelli that came with a generous portion of noodles, minced meat and fishballs. And to top it off; a prawn – which, as you can imagine, is highly unusual for this dish.
I had my mind blown. Such an unassuming outlet serving such an amazing dish and for the mere price of $4.50. In fact, I’m still halfway through the noodles but I just can’t wait to tell the world about this.
The flavors blend so heavenly well. Not too salty or spicy: not too sweet or sour. It sure isn’t anything close to bland tho. It’s (in the words of Thanos) “perfectly balanced as all things should be”.
My only regret is that I live in Yishun and this is a solid 30 min drive away. Seems like I’m gonna arrange more meetings around this area.
But hey! Don’t take my word for it. Head down here and try it for yourself. There are ample parking spaces nearby and there’s hardly a queue (granted it’s 9.01am) in any of the stalls.
ps: the coffee ain’t half as bad too. 100% will come again

Long queue but the bakso soup is one of the better one. The soup is clear and tasty. 5 big balls(sorry too hungry and forgotten to take photo) it looks hard on the outside but is actually very tender and soft. $3.80 each bowl. Very affordable! The penyet is not that fantastic for me. I have better ones before. I would go back again for their bakso.
Went back on 10/10/2022 again.

Must try the Korean food here, very generous with portion and taste is authentic. Been years since I visit and it is still here, taste still as good, owned by a nice old couple. Still at affordable price too. Perfect for Korean food cravings. Saba fish is bigger than others, meat is still soft and juicy. Kimchi soup not as salty.

Unfortunately, Ubi 33 food house is a less-than-pleasant experience. The rude drink auntie can put a damper on the meal, and the smell of the toilets can be overwhelming while you’re eating. While the food may be decent, these negative aspects detract from the overall dining experience. It’s best to avoid this spot if you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.

I like Korean food stall and economy rice stall. The Korean stall has been around for a decade or so. It is cheap and bigger portion than any other similar stalls elsewhere. And it tastes good too
