Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They have delicious hamburgers. They have other sandwiches and salads on the menu. They have a bunch of different sauces along with spicy and regular ketchup. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food came out really fast, and it was just like we ordered. It was hot and fresh, and they brought it out to our table along with condiments. It was very comparable in price to the other hamburger places, but it tasted so much better, and the hamburgers were really big. It was a lot of food when you ordered tge meal with fries. They also have onion rings. This was my first time eating at Whataburger, and I will definitely be going back again while I am here visiting my son. I would recommend them to everyone in the area looking for a delicious hamburger st stop in and try them out.

The returning Pico De Gallo burger is a wonderful mix of kick and flavorful beef. Paired with fresh, crispy thin fries and a kiosk to order without a line. Makes for a decent lunch spot. Location wise, this is one of the best Whataburgers I’ve eaten at in a while. Gives faith back to the franchise name.

The 1/4 lb. burger patty was tasty, though I wish it was thicker. The staff is kind, helpful, and attentive. The price of the patty was reasonable. The atmosphere is basic, nothing fancy. We have returned there multiple times.

I ordered an order online for take out when I came in I told the lady at the front and she said they’ll bring it out when it’s ready. Didn’t even ask my name on the order so I sat and waited 30 mins bc I figured they were still preparing it since it said still preparing on the app and I was following her instructions to wait for them to bring it out to the counter. I finally went up to tell them and it was ready this whole time in the back. Idk why she gave me the wrong instructions and then brushed me off and wasn’t even worried about getting me my order.

We ordered fries, jalapeño burger, original burger and vanilla milkshake. Everything was good except the original burger patty was very salty. My granddaughter couldn’t eat her burger and we thought she was being finicky until I tasted her burger. Not sure what happened as all our previous orders have been great.

I was hugely disappointed with the meal I had here. The burger was somewhat squashed flat and lacked much taste beyond the sauce. The onion rings were sightly overdone. I would rank this below McDonald’s and I usually avoid that place all together.

This location is closing in a few days, and for good reason. It is horribly mismanaged. They constantly get orders wrong or leave out items entirely. They put the tiniest amount of mayo on the burgers, even if you ask for extra, but they’ll douse it in ketchup even if you didn’t ask for ketchup. It was consistently inconsistent for the year it was open, and now it is being put out of its misery — rightfully so.

The food was what I would expect from Whataburger. The service was deplorable. As we came in, the person in front of us was telling the staff they didn’t receive their shake. Two staff made them a shake, resulting in one extra. One of the cashiers, Dakota, grabbed the extra one and took it to her friend who was sitting in the dining area, while another staff member was yelling, “you can’t give that to her for free!”
After we were seated, it took 15 minutes for our food to come out. The fries were hot, but our sandwiches were cold. Oh, and while we were waiting, two staff members were pretending to fight, like throwing punches at each other, behind the registers. We asked the staff who brought us our order for ketchup, but she got distracted by taking the order of another staff member, so my husband had to go up and get it.
The entire time we were there, Dakota was yelling from the cash register to her friend in the dining area about moving out of her parents’ house as soon as she was able. If Dakota wasn’t yelling from the register, she was in the dining area talking loudly to her friend while the other cashier continued to work.
