I have a great experience everytime I come here! They have great selection of pastries! The maple bar is absolutely amazing. The crustless quiche is also fantastic! I’m always met with kind knowledgeable staff who are extremely helpful and are in good spirits! Can’t wait to try the blueberry bread pudding with rum sauce! Two thumbs up! Highly recommend!

First time here, on a recommendation from our son in law. The food is very good, and looks delicious even just sitting in the case. We didn’t try the cider (driving over the pass in a blizzard), but we’re intrigued enough to go back and check it out.
The interior is inviting and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and overall we enjoyed our visit very much.
You should give this great little place a try, it’s definitely worth it.

Title: Great Atmosphere and Coffee, but Disappointing Customer Service Experience
Hayday has a good atmosphere, good coffee, and tasty food. However, during my last visit, I had a rather uncomfortable experience. I arrived around 9:30am to meet a friend for coffee. After he left around 12 I decided to do some work. Hayday was fairly empty, with many open tables and only a few customers around.
That’s when the owner approached me and said something to the effect of, “Excuse me. You’ve been here for 4 hours. Unless you’re going to get something else, you should have left after 1.5 hours.” I was surprised and confused by his tone and how he exaggerated how long I had been there. It was abrupt and came off as accusatory, with no apology or understanding.
I completely understand small businesses rely on turnover and it’s important that policies are communicated. But, in this case, the exaggerated time frame and the tone made me feel unwelcome and was really disappointing. (I’ve never been treated like this at a coffee shop/cafe before in my life…or be told to leave like this).
I still think Hayday has a lot to offer, and I want to give the owner the benefit-of-a-doubt, but conversations about time limits and expectations with customers could be handled with more kindness. (Unfortunately, I have noticed a few other reviews with similar experiences with the owner).

I have visited Hayday Bake and Brew about once a week to get a sweet treat for my daughter. They have always been delicious and super friendly. Today I went in for lunch and the waitress recommended the Caprese Panini. So delicious. Perfectly crisp bread and warm melty cheese. It was delicious. I ate it out in the sunshine on their front patio. Highly recommend you come visit this place. (Here is a photo of the Pumpkin cookie I got the sandwich was too good and I forgot to get a picture)

I was very displeased with what I received. First I was told a price over the phone but charged a completely different price, then after receiving the cake I ended up throwing the whole thing away. The cake tasted days old, it was extremely dry and overcooked as well as the buttercream icing I asked for was rock hard as if it were that gross molding icing. I will never waste my money here again. I heard such good things about this place, but what I received was NOT a 50 dollar cake, you can also see where they messed up on the writing, some of it even being removed and a dark stain line left in place. The cake its self was beautiful, don’t get me wrong. But the taste and quality was absolutely awful. What was supposed to be a very sentimental birthday for someone who moved literally across the u.s to be here for me and my child turned into a show of me tossing a 50$ cake into the garbage because it was inedible.
