We have eaten at Steam Boys numerous times and have never been disappointed. However, we stoped by today and was shocked at some changes. The steamed bun was not risen and was very dense. We were shocked that they even brought it out to us like that. It looked mummyfied. The beef noodle soup tasted nice, but it was in a bowl that held almost no soup and the noodles were dry. They weren’t even covered in soup.

I ordered the beef noodle soup with medium spice and it was a great lunch. The bowl had a ton of noodles with a perfectly cooked texture. The broth was flavorful and well balanced, and they definitely didn’t skimp on the protein. Plenty of beef, perfectly seasoned, and very satisfying. Overall, a solid meal and I’ll definitely be back.

The soup dumplings are to die for! And the pan seared dumplings delish. All homemade. The sliced beef rice bowl was delicious and the sautéed onions and over easy egg added great flavor and texture. Even though it’s on the appetizer menu, the bowl is entree sized, so plan to share or leave full. And don’t leave without a Boba tea!

Such a cozy little boba spot. The drinks are smooth not too sweet and really refreshing. The veggie bumbling are surprisingly good flavorful filling and super comforting. Perfect place to chill and treat yourself.

The food is not great. The cucumber salad was not good, very sour but nothing else. The steamed bao had little flavor. The popcorn chicken had no flavor besides the side sauce. The wontons were no better than frozen. If you ask for water you get a flimsy hospital cup. You have to ask for silverware too. Franklin has plenty other places to go with better food and much better service
