Anyways, the inside is small and clean. It’s decorated nicely. The hostess behind the counter was very polite.
I was offered either 2 tamales, 2 tacos or 1 taco and 1 tamale. Since I was taking mine to go, I opted for the tamales. I ordered 1 chicken and 1 pastor tamale. They were flavorful and brought back fond memories from my childhood. I haven’t had tamales in forever. I had the jimica drink aka hibiscus and it was soooo good. It was worth the drive up.
I can’t wait to back and explore more items of their menu and especially bring my dad here when he visits from Miami. Tamales is something we only get to enjoy in December
and that’s if you happen to know someone that keeps the tradition alive, making The Tamale Factory extra special.
As for the kids menu. They do have a dedicated kids menu. Street tacos or quesadillas. My kids were highly unimpressed with the street tacos. Prob should have got the quesadillas or added some lettuce and tomato to their tacos.
Overall food was great
I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor and freshness of the meal. Nice clean bright atmosphere and a friendly staff made this the perfect lunch choice.
I ordered several tamales. My favorite one was the chicken tamale. I also ordered bean and cheese pupusas, which were VERY and not greasy. Their horchata and jugo de melon are one of the best ones I have ever had.
The service is warm and welcoming.
I would highly recommend stopping by and giving this place a try.
The staff were friendly. It has a very family-operated vibe. This was our first visit, and we’ll definitely be back.
The restaurant is kind of hard to see from the road, so use Google/Apple Maps. Once they get more established, it’d be a good idea to invest in some signage. In the meantime, this place is a gem of a place that isn’t yet well-known but more than worth the trip.
I ordered one beef, one pork, and one chicken tamale. I was bummed that they were out of cheese tamales, but all three of the flavors I got were awesome. Super flavorful and moist. Really didn’t need much sauce or anything because the masa was so well seasoned.
The service was friendly and quick. You order at the counter and clean up after yourself. The prices were reasonable. I got the three tamale combo with rice and beans and couldn’t finish it.
