The Buckeye Restaurant and Suites is a great place to eat at. Not only do you get the best service, you also can order some great food to eat. You have a wonderful selection of desserts as well. Now open from 11am to 2pm closed reopen 4p to 8p.

We stayed at the Buckeye for five days over Christmas and truly loved it. It was one of the most special places I’ve ever stayed at. Doug, the owner, is a truly incredible man and takes care of his guests. The suite itself is so beautiful and comfortable – we didn’t want to leave the room! Also, the restaurant serves amazing food that we enjoyed a couple of times. I’ll definitely be staying here again when we come to visit family in the area!

The atmosphere is wonderful, the old house is beautifully restored. All the people were wonderfully friendly, helpful. Chef came out to welcome us, very friendly ,happily made special dish for my sister who can’t have onions. Prices were wonderful. I live about an hour and half away, was up here for funeral, but the Buckeye Restaurant will make me come back just to eat there! Kudos to you all!

Excellent atmosphere in a old house that has been remodeled. 10 of us went and everyone was happy with their food. I had salmon and asparagus and both were excellent. I splurged with cherry pie for dessert and it was home made with a great flavor. Highly recommend this establishment.

Food was great! Buffet style breakfast, which was a nice refreshing change. My fiance and I met up with another couple and had a nice brunch, we were even offered the option to stick around and have some buffet lunch when that came out. The chef was very helpful when our friend mentioned her allergy to onion, they made special dishes just for her without any onions. The only complaint I have was the scent of oil and food cooking was left lingering on my clothing and in my hair after we left.

Excellent food and service! I had the soup and salad combo. Broccoli soup was great but oh man..that salad! It had a large piece of salmon on it (cooked to perfection) and fresh strawberries, pineapple, tomatoes, feta, walnuts (I can’t remember what else). I highly recommend the raspberry vinaigrette dressing for this one. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich and she loved it. Definitely go try this place..

Definitely not what the rest of the reviews say. If you have kids definitely don’t get them the chicken tenders. Freezer burnt and horrible! The salad was good and the meatloaf was also pretty good. The server did a good job, but food is definitely not as advertised!!
