Lots of food options here. I got the Chicken Thai Fried Rice. The quantity is a lot, so it was enough to last me 2 meals. I think it could use more seasoning or sauce because it was a little bland. My friend got a bento box and a boba and he liked both.

For $12, it’s okay, not too bad for the price — but I’d give it 3/10.

Everything was cold. The chicken katsu had a weird smell and no flavor at all. The rice was okay, but it was also too cold, so I had to ask the front desk to heat it up.

I’m glad I asked for the curry on the side. They said it’s Japanese curry, but it doesn’t taste like Japanese curry at all. The texture was very strange, almost like jelly, and I didn’t like the taste.

It could be much better for a $12 meal 🙂

Doesn’t even deserve one star. Ordered chicken Katsu via door dash. Worst chicken katsu I have ever had in my life. Zero spice, not even salt was present. Forget that it tastes like cardboard , the chicken smells – must be stale and they just fried it. salad looks old and gross too. Threw away the whole thing after 2 bites and I hope I don’t get sick from it

One of the only places you should go on campus for food. Quality and quantity here never lacks. They’ll load up your box with fresh and hot food.

Endless Options and choices.
I Recommend Getting Spicy Beef Stew With Udon if You are Feeling Spicy.
Ordering Congee with Pork for Rainy or Cold Days. And I also Enjoy the Spare Ribs With Rice Dish! As Long as you know what you like before entering this Place is a Staple and their Bubble Tea is Really Affordable!

Had delivered. Shrimp tempura—what a joke. Every piece was way overcooked. Shrimp rubbery. Breading not like tempura batter at all—just a very thick coating of bread crumbs. Would give them 0 stars if that were an available choice. Don’t go here for authentic Japanese food.

I’ve been going to Dancing Chopsticks for years, and it’s always only been relevant because of the affordability of their food. The quality? Not so much. Just earlier this year, my friend and I bought sushi from them at night when they have their BOGO discount on sushi. My friend’s sushi, I kid you not, smelled like urine. They ate it because they were hungry, but when they finally commented on it, I smelled it myself & was disgusted. And no, sushi should NOT smell like that just because it’s been out for a couple hours. The last straw finally came recently, when I ordered their chicken thai fried rice for dinner. I went to sleep a few hours after eating half, and I woke up feeling intense stomach pain – I vomited AND had diarrhea. As a college student, you usually get your fair share of food poisoning cases. However, the only other time this has happened to me is when I ate something that was contaminated with mold at home, and it concerns me that Dancing Chopsticks’s food safety must be on that severe of a level (not saying that they have mold in their kitchen). I’m extremely disappointed and their food simply wasn’t that good to begin with, so I will never be going back. There’s so many better options & it’s not worth getting sick during exams week. Just go to AK or Poke Factory or even Young Chow right next door.

My partner and I absolutely love getting the bento boxes from here. The other food is also really good. But the bento boxes are our favorite. I’ve tried the beef , chicken, and pork from there and they season them so well. I’ve been going here for the last 6-7 years and have yet to be disappointed. If you get a bento box, order the fried dumplings. Their dumpling sauce is also really good. They also have a very diverse selection of beverages and boba tea.
Featured in the photos of my recent meal: fried dumplings, rice, small side salad, chicken teriyaki, pineapple boba drink, and a unique flavored green tea.

One of the best restaurants on UB’s Campus. Extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity you will get. If I buy, say, Chicken Thai Fried Rice, that is 2 meals for me! The taste is amazing and the food is well-seasoned unlike other Asian food joints on-campus. Food feels fresh too.

The place is one of the very few which are open all days of the week so a go-to place for a weekend worker like me.

Chicken katsu was overcooked and dry. Fried gyoza was OK, a bit stale. Beef teriyaki tasted funky, or the teri sauce is wack.

Katsu is OK if you need something ASAP. Not the best quality.
