I went to the new, Parkway Plaza location. Great Americana food in a sea of Italian, Mexican and asian places. Corrected this review to All-Stars and added photos. I would recommend this place.

Way better than expected. As a mall food court location you’re not really expecting quality. Usually you get fast, and cheap. But flavor and freshness is usually lacking g from food courts.
This location, the service was exceptional right from the walk up. The order took a bit longer than fast food but not unreasonable.
The cost: actually a tad cheaper than you expect from a food court. I would recommend this location for anyone dining in a budget at this mall.
The food: food was all freshly made with real fish in the fish pieces and realy white meat chicken in the chicken nuggets. Both were well seasoned and flavorful.
This is the place for a good meal at a good price while shopping at this mall. I would actually come here just for the fish even with out visiting the mall.

Ate here on a rainy NYE day, was struggling to decide what to have but went with the fish and chips. It was delicious! Great batter and fry, good fries, and they had malt vinegar on hand.
Very friendly and kind staff working there today, would 1000% go again and try the other options. I’m sure all of it is good!

1st I was impressed by how accommodating the woman taking my order was. She assured me 1 meal of fish and chips was generous enough for two young ones to share.
Coffee milks shakes are rare to find at food places and I was elated to order and enjoy mine. Next time I’ll ask for a double shot of coffee.
Next time I’ll be going to Janna’s Burgers at ParkWay Plaza that is opening in two weeks. Turns put the cheerful woman who took my order was Janna the owner!!! She works hard & loves what feeding people delicious food!

Great service and amazing fries! Most of the menu items come with a drink and fries, which combined with the decent price makes it a good place to go. I got a 1/4 lb burger and it’s really good! And, again, the fries are amazing. I will definitely go again!

Had a bacon cheese burger with fries. Burger tasted great, even if it was a bit small. Fries were lightly seasoned and served with a dollop of ketchup. Service was fast and friendly. The root beer tasted weak, probably just needed to refresh the syrup.

My daughter really wanted fries! They were super yummy The service was super nice & it was super fast & well made! Seasoned perfectly!! She even gave extra ketchup & didn’t even think twice!! Will Definitely go back just because the employee was nice!!

First time trying their burgers and i have to say it tastes pretty darn good. Had california burger with zucchini fries. Burger was very tasty and perfectly cooked and perfect portion. Zucchini was nice and crunchy and hot.
Taste very similar to in and out but kinda better in someway. I would highly recommend to check it out if you are cravibg for fresh handmade tasting burgers.
I am definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.

This could be the best burger in La Mesa. Wonderfully seasoned, and a near-perfect balance of condiments making for the right amount of juiciness. I usually get the double cheeseburger combo. A triple will leave you incapacitated, so be warned. The fries…? Not really my style, but the onion rings are wonderful. My wife loves the fish. Looks like they use good quality fillets. Like I say on most of my reviews, your milage may vary, but I don’t think you can go wrong with their offerings. Buy local!
