Our party ordered ahead, for takeout, online. When we arrived received a text stating the order had been cancelled. Clerk said there is a problem with the website. We prepaid on THEIR website. So waited an extra 20 minutes in the store for them to make what should have been premade. We also requested an add-on of hot honey drizzle. As you can see in pics, they doused the pizza and the box with honey, inside and out. Honey spilled in the car… very sticky, and not at all a drizzle (management please teach your staff how to drizzle a pizza, not pour it on as a coating).
Not sure what’s going on here, but the place was empty on a Sunday at 7, there was no smell of pizza, and a family of five walked in, sat down and said it was too smoky from the cigar bar downstairs so they looked around and walked back out. I have reviewed hundreds of restaurants in Southeast Michigan – this is among the worst.

Great Detroit style pizza. My big complaint is their beers are tap were down due to some issue and their bottle beers were all mass produced stuff. Clean bathroom and very empty during Sunday lunch.

Stopped in by chance and had a fantastic meal at a great spot. We ordered the Margherita pizza, garlic knots, and pistachio pesto pasta — everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed with a nice bar vibe, and the service was very friendly. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

We tried Detroit Pizza Pub for the first time today. This is a 5-star pizza joint. I am a fan of Detroit-style pizza…this the best I have tasted. Our waitress, Lisa, explained the lengthy process involved just to make the dough. We also ordered the round-style and it too is 5-star. The garlic knots are a must. Our salad was fresh and tasty with house-made dressing. It is clear the pride the owner and staff take in this establishment. We were greeted warmly and the service was attentive. If you are a pizza aficionado (Detroit-style or round) this place is a MUST. I look forward to dining here again.

What an amazing experience! This was our first visit and we were incredibly impressed. Our server was Sol. She was helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Our order included bruchetta, pistachio pesto pasta, veggie pizza, and garlic knots. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The in house made sangria is the best we have tasted anywhere. We were also given a private tour of the downstairs speak easy. The atmosphere is so hip and entertaining. A full cigar bar is also available. We learned that the site bakes all breads and doughs fresh, too. I highly recommend adding this to your must visit list.

Great for a quick slice of pizza! Stopped here after visiting the hands on museum. Hot box on the counter had 2-3 trays with slices ready. Server helped ring me up at the bar for a few slices and package individually in to go containers.
The pepperoni pizza was great. Good chew on the dough, tasty red sauce that blended perfect with cheese/pepperoni oils. It’s a drive for me but I would return.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat before a Michigan football games. Service was quick and attentive. I’d have liked to try a conventional pizza but my kids wanted to try their more unique combinations and so we got the pickle and buffalo pizzas. The Buffalo pizza had homemade buffalo sauce (delicious) and tons of blue cheese. It was delicious! The Pickle pizza may have been even better. I don’t recall what all it had on it, but it was really good! The crust was also crunchy and a good amount of cheese as well. This will be a new staple for us when we visit Ann Arbor.

Service was GREAT – two waited on us, one brought food and one took are orders – great team. Ordered the sweet heat pizza 4 slice and a caprese salad to split. Salad was great – gone before I even thought about a picture ♀️ Tried the pizza – was a bit too rich for me but very tasty, will try others next time. Very flavorful with a nice bite. Tastefully decorated smaller restaurant – will be back for sure! Waitress was nice and checked on us often – very nice evening and then visited the speakeasy in the basement thru the secret passage:)

My coworkers raved about this place, and now I understand why. I’m mad at myself for not trying it sooner. I simply didn’t believe there would be anything “Detroit” about it. I stand corrected. The whole menu looks delicious but if comes even remotely close to how good this pickle pizza is, I’m never going anywhere else for my break again. I also noticed that they have lunch specials that are priced better than the fast food we’re supposed to be boycotting. I hope this place is packed every day!!!!
