I got a scone and had to ask to warm it up? The food was good, potato buns.
I love the worldly vibe! Definitely a local favorite and with a warm atmosphere. The little espresso coolers are great, warning this drink is smaller than it appears in the photo!

Cute little coffee shop. They have a wide array of offerings. I tried their Sugar Cookie Latté with half of the syrup and it was PERFECT! I like that the espresso is not over-roasted. I also got a breakfast Caprese sandwich that totally hit the spot. Definitely recommend!

Have been a long time (over 20+ years) customer and really loved when they came to North Liberty. It blows my mind that the owner refuses to replace the speaker at this drive thru. It never works and because the employee cannot hear my order I have received 3 wrong orders in a row. Even though the staff is super nice and will always fix, it is such an inconvenience for them and for the customer. Support your staff by fixing things that don’t work!!!

First visit. Their Ultimate Grilled Cheese sandwich is phenomenal! I paired a half sandwich with a cup of Tomato Soup & had a n Iced Chai Tea Latte with a shot of Vanilla. Everything was excellent. I’ll be back.

Another Java House Location in the Corridor. I like that this location has a drive through but I wish the inside was more spacious and had some more laidback furniture. I also wish they had more games like some of the bigger locations but I can see why they wouldn’t want people hanging out as long here with the limited space.

decent selections of food and beverages. i tried their iced green tea and turkey avocado sandwich. tea was good but it didn’t really taste like green tea. sandwich was also decent. staff was friendly and it had nice ambient. i would return again to try more things.

The sandwiches were pretty good, seemed pretty fresh but both of our drinks were almost undrinkable, the hot chocolate was just watered down milk with a bunch of caramel in it and the cappuccino was watered down…meh. The staff wasn’t that friendly either.

My salad was limp and kind of slimy. Sandwich felt like the ratios were off, not very flavorful. Java House coffee is fine but I wouldn’t go to Heirloom for the food!

Good coffee shop for locally roasted and brewed coffee. Love the cold brew and giant of the earth pour over as well as the chai tea to name a few. A local gem and great for people who like a better cup of coffee. Lucky to have them in the Iowa city area. Wish they could get the business back after COVID to be open later at night particularly at least the downtown location and now the north liberty location with the opening of the new hospital in north liberty.
