I recently ordered a deli platter to serve about 8–10 people, which included assorted meats and cheeses, fresh mozzarella, marinated peppers, and three loaves of semolina bread. While the platter looked nice and the food was decent, the price was shocking.
The total came to $280, which feels extremely overpriced for what we received. Based on typical deli and catering prices in Northern New Jersey, a platter of this size and quality should have been much closer to $120–$180. The portions were not exceptional, and there was nothing particularly premium that justified the cost.
I’ve been a customer here for years and unfortunately, since the recent change in ownership, the quality and value no longer seem to match the old standards. That’s disappointing, because this deli used to be a place I trusted.
Because of this experience, I won’t be giving them my business again. I strongly recommend asking for a detailed price breakdown before ordering, as the value simply did not match the price.

Have ordered our Xmas meat from A&A for 10+ years. Was a little worried with new owners – the order is a 10 pound beef tenderloin. The meat was trimmed perfectly, easy to prepare, and our guest were very happy with the meal. This may have been the best we have every gotten – great job A&A. Not an ounce of fat. I love the atmosphere on Xmas eve at A&A – it screams the holidays.

Good sandwiches.. when they are prepared how you ask them to. I live in Lincoln Park and have been coming here for the past year now on and off. Prices keep going up, i order the same thing every time and it’s gone from $16 to now $18.13 for a turkey hero with fresh mozzarella. What’s more annoying is they get this order wrong in some way or another maybe every 6-8 times i order it. I have to check it before I leave so I don’t go home, find out it’s wrong, then have to drive back. It’s just avoidable mistakes and now the prices isn’t worth it. You can find just as good a sandwich for cheaper to be honest.

This place was recommended by a coworker so we decided to give it a try. I personally had the Rocky sandwich and I wasn’t impressed. Something in it was extremely salty, and the sandwich itself for the price I felt should’ve been better. The place itself, it’s nice and clean. They have a variety of things from meats, fish, pastries, and already prepped food.

It’s disappointing to see what has happened under the new ownership to a business that Anthony and Alfonso built on quality food and strong community ties. Unfortunately, that standard no longer seems to be upheld. The store appears poorly stocked, food quality has declined despite increased prices, and staff morale seems noticeably low.
The primary reason for this review is the cancellation of a catering order just three days before our event, which left us scrambling to find a replacement on very short notice. Sadly, this experience has resulted in the loss of a previously loyal customer.

Great selection of high quality Italian food! They are a bit pricy, but the best in the area. Well worth the price you pay! If you are looking for a great antipasto this is the place to go! They also have a verity of homemade sausage and various pre-made ready to eat dishes. The workers are friendly, helpful, and know what they are doing. Highly recommend!

What An Amazing Place ! Hands Down this Place is A Jem ! What an Experience! Customer Service Amazing! Amazing Selection From Fresh to Frozen, From Lunch, Dinner to Dessert they have it all.

The place is a little outdated and could use some cleaning up. I shop in little Italy all the time and the food is ok,not up to the standards I expect for the price they charge.not much of a selection but I guess if you have no where else to go it’s better than nothing
