I have never been to a restaurant this cool before. Drove out here from Raleigh for a day trip, and the food and atmosphere were so incredible I’d come back for this spot alone. If you want some food that you can tell is made completely from scratch, this is the place to go.

Came here for the first time with my sister and mom. We are always searching for the best authentic mexican and this place delivered in the biggest way!! We ordered an asada taco, gordita and sope and they were delicious! The steak was so tender. We ordered a side of rice and beans and both were very good! They bring out three different salsas, cabbage and lime for everything. There was a green salsa that was very flavorful without the heat, a medium salsa that was my fave, definitely had some heat that I love and a super spicy one. The aguas frescas and horchata was delicious. You definitely should check the place out! Forgot to get a pic until we were finished

Wonderful food! I’ve been going here since 2008! IT’S MY ALL TIME FAVORITE Mexican restaurant! The cook knows what he’s doing! He should have his own food show on the Food Network! My son asked me about the whereabouts of this restaurant yesterday. He said he’s been trying to find it so he could take his friends and once again feast on the food himself! He said he’s been trying to find it but didn’t remember exactly in Smithfield it was located. He just remembers how good the food was and the last time we went together we walked there when he was 15 years old in 2010! The food here is so good that when my car broke down that summer me and my sons walked over 2 miles just to have that incredible food experience once again! Fresh fruit and vegetables and high quality meats are used in preparation of these awesome Mexican dishes and cuisines! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
