We chose to have our after wedding brunch at Hofheimer, specifically the Library and it was the perfect choice. The space was cozy with a great aesthetic and the food was fantastic! Erin was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and menu selection. She took the time to go over all the options and offered her expert opinion. She made the planning a breeze and the food was delicious. They even took special requests to make the bacon extra crispy and it was cooked perfectly. For day of, Mark was our event manager/point of contact and he was a gem. He began communicating with us the morning of the event through text and continued great communication throughout the whole event. He took the initiative to bring in extra seating for us, he had a sweet congratulatory message cast on the screen for us and he even opened the rooftop for us since it was a nice day. He thought of all the little things to make the morning run smoothly without us even asking and went above and beyond to deliver an amazing event. He even delivered on some last minute requests without hesitation. It truly was a great experience all around and would definitely recommend hosting an event here.

My business Divine Decorating Services LLC decorated for a birthday party there. Wedding Coordinator Gabby was awesome. The hall is well kept. This venue has 3 levels with elevator access. The first floor is a restaurant sports bar. Second level event hall 2 separate rooms. The third level is rooftop. The downside is they do not have parking. Parking is on your own very inconvenient. Also small food prep area. No on site cooking in the event hall and no ice machine

My group of friends celebrated the 4th of July at the Hof! This will be our yearly tradition. We loved how organized the building was, with tiers of tickets and packages. This limited the crowds and gave for a more intimate experience! We decided to book a large group space where our group was seated in the couch area, where we had an attentive server and were able to get food and drinks! The view from the roof was perfect for the fireworks and the dj played music throughout the night. We love all the staff at the Hof (from the managers to the bartenders and security) and how inclusive the environment is. It brings a diverse crowd and I never feel worried to come have a drink or meal by myself! Our friend group had a blast!!!!

Went to a Harry’s Paint & Sip to share the experience with my Sister for her Birthday. To my surprise, it wasn’t what I expected. However, turned out to be such an awesome experience. The Manager, Ron was exceptional in welcoming us, providing a tour and great conversation. The entire staff was warm, accommodating and very attentive to our needs. Even many of the guests were very friendly and encouraging. I definitely would go there again and would recommend it.

I love this place coming from San Diego, California! This place is good to come have some good drinks music and FOOD! The hospitality and vibe are so amazing. I recommend this place as an icebreaker for new couples, place to bring the in-laws, family and friends of all ages welcome. Wide verity of drinks and mixes. Three floors to explore and vibe. A must visit open 7 Days a week 3 or m to midnight that 9 hours of pure fun and enjoyment! What more could you as for from Benin there in RCA. This West CALI Women approves! If you come at about 2030 or 830pm is when it started to be popping in this joint!

Stopped in on St. Patrick’s Day around dinner time. Maybe not surprising the “German” restaurant wasn’t very busy. They did have a four piece band playing some fun music downstairs and the rooftop patio was open to hang out but no food or drink service up there (I’m assuming due to the small crowd). They have a few German style plates and a variety of burgers. The Mr. Wolf is unique and delicious. I’m sure this is a fun place to come on a nice summer day/night and enjoy the patio. If looking for a food option in the Scott’s Addition neighborhood to complement all the breweries, this should leave you happy.

We recently staged a production of Hamlet at the Hof in their Loft space and I could not be any happier with our experience. The space, their staff, everything was amazing.
I believe that our production was the first piece of theatre that has been staged in the space but you wouldn’t know it from the way they anticipated all our unique needs. The level of professionalism and preparation throughout was so impressive. They thought of everything, including a dozen things we hadn’t even considered ourselves.
Everyone was so helpful and so flexible with all our last-minute minutiae. Bobby and Gaby were prompt with all our communications and excited about helping us put on our show; Leigh was so welcoming and accommodating with helping us get set up when we arrived; the bartender Daniel was so kind and helped us out with a fun audience-participation moment in our show.
I cannot recommend this space highly enough for any and all kinds of events. Prior to staging our show there, I have been to lots of various events here, from classical music concerts, to storytelling events, to fashion shows, and they were always wonderful, which is why I chose to host my own event there.

I was hired as a Balloon Artist to decorate for a 50th birthday event At Hofheimer this past weekend. At first, it was stressful because we found out the night before the event that the Do,inion Parade was happening at the same time, but… I got there early and was lucky enough to find parking right out front! This building was awesome, you would never know what’s inside by looking at it. When you first walk in , there’s a dining and bar area. Then up on the second floor is the event space, The room I set up in was the Library. I put the balloon garland up against one of the wall bookcases and the client loved it.

This was my first time at Hof’s Rooftop for a friend’s celebration. He reserved as section on the roof . It was a slow start the food was good chicken and waffles chicken was a chicken breast ( boneless) which is always my preference waffles are sweet almost biscuit like texture ? The “syrup” was a spicy molasses concoction – was not bad but not what I expected . The empanadas were vegan ? Black bean filling tasty but small 3 per serving we had multiple plates of those but clearly an appetizer. The stand out would have been the sweet Chile wings . I am not a big wing fan but these were delicious . But the TRUE STANDOUT was the service from the bartender WILL , he was fabulous .I have never seen a server work so hard . 2 other servers had told my friend no umbrellas were available remember he has rented a section on a HOT roof top. Will shows up he finds an umbrella, hand fans for the women, keeps our bucket filled with ice , orange juice , cranberry juice , Tito’s , etc . It is not about it being his job but how he executed it . He made small talk asked questions, we never had to look for him , we looked up – he was there . The kitchen is on the 2nd floor – Rooftop the 3rd he made sure the food servers got to our area quickly .Our party got to be “largish” Will was on it . If Will worked every place I went I would go out more frequently. In fact I have been to many Rooftop bar and establishments in VA but I will return to HOF’S because of the great service in hopes that all the staff is similar to Will.
