I tried to order vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and strawberries on top as a sundae not a blizzard. The female cashier told me I wasn’t able to order my ice cream in a clear medium cup instead I needed to ordered it in a medium blizzard cup. What’s the difference??? You can see in their advertisement photos they offer vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and an Oreo brownie bits on the side. So why couldn’t I have the same cup for my order? It all gets paid for. I walked out and didn’t pay for anything.

Drove past the Dairy Queen in Round Lake so that I could give my business to this one. It’s disappointing that you can’t go inside to order, therefore you can’t see the menu or the prices, therefore they can charge whatever they like. I bought a cherry Mr. Misty float which has apparently recently changed price from three dollars to four dollars. I understand inflation but an entire dollar in just a couple weeks? I can do without next time. That or just stop in Round Lake.

Ordered hot fudge sundae. The hot fudge was buried in the middle, had to go through plain vanilla ice cream before finding the hot fudge.

The place looks great! They did a really nice job with the rebuild, it’s small on the inside but there’s a little counter you can sit at, and there are three tables outside as well. Service was fast and the Blizzards were delicious!

The old Dairy Queen had a better system. Now the new one is always crowded, there are no obvious signs to direct people to wait for their online order or physical order. Today I was tryimg to get the free dilly bar and we ordered 2 things for $10+. The order said it’d be ready by 8;52 so we waited around then came back and they didn’t have it ready. They just made it quickly and got sticky chocolate stains on my milkshake cup and we didn’t even get a dilly bar. I may sound like it’s picky to not get dilly bar but we bought these things and we didn’t even get the free dilly bar they talked about. Then they tried to blame us for not having the app sooner. The workers are not professional in the back either. They literally dropped a giant milk bag and laughed loudly as everyone was crowded in this tiny building. They couldn’t even just give us the dilly bar.
