New casual Indian restaurant recommended by a friend. We ordered the tandoori chicken wings, vegetables biryani and gobi manchurian.
All the dishes were delicious and tasty. It appears that they have a large to -go order clients. Very clean establishment with super friendly staff.

Located just beside the Indian grocery store & with convenient parking.
Dine In – They have a huge menu to chose from, so would recommend to be prepared in advance what you are in mood of eating.
All their curries, biryanis, pulao and other snacks are DELICIOUS. Also their special dessert (peach delight) is a must try. We are a fan of their indo-Chinese dishes. They also do adjust the spice level well. They do have display monitors displaying your name & approx wait time which is convenient.
Only downside at this moment we felt is they are slow and average wait times will be ~30mints.
Take out orders – they do have an app you can order from. As well they have a kiosk in the store itself.
They run daily offers on kebabs, pulaos, biryanis (typically 2 items for $20).
Overall, good pricing & quantity. They are still very new, so hopefully the service speed will improve!

Awesome biryanis! I am a regular here, and they never disappoint. I especially love their Karivepaku Chicken Biryani. It is always flavorful and perfectly cooked. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which makes the whole experience even better every time I visit.

I had a very disappointing experience here. The service was extremely slow and disorganized. The dishes were brought out separately with long gaps in between instead of being served together.
I ordered tea and waited 45 minutes for it. If it wasn’t available, they could have simply told me, but instead they kept saying “5 more minutes” again and again.
Overall, the experience was frustrating and not worth the time. I would not recommend this place unless you’re ready to spend a long time just waiting for your food.

Great spot for chai lovers and desi food enthusiasts!
Loved the atmosphere and the cozy ambience — it’s a perfect place to unwind. Being a fan of Desi Bites from Kansas City, I was pleasantly surprised to find the same authentic chai taste here in Ballwin. Tried the Biriyani of the Day — Gongura Mutton Biriyani — flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. It’s a newly opened spot and definitely off to a great start. Wishing the team all the best — looking forward to coming back again!

Desi Bites is a decent restaurant with reasonable budget prices. We ordered the dosas, which were good quality, though the service was a bit slow and the food was sometimes cold by the time it reached the table. The vegetable fried rice was average and a little oily, but the chicken puff was tasty. We also had the chicken biryani, which was very fresh and flavorful.

The food was excellent! The mutton biryani was cooked to perfection – tender meat and perfectly spiced rice. Preeti provided outstanding service and hospitality, taking great care of us throughout our visit. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend!

I absolutely didn’t like the food. We came in for dine-in today, ordered hakka noodles & biryani to try out this place for the first time. The flavour & chicken was good but hakka noodles don’t have the salt in it. And the biryani rice wasn’t completely cooked. We had eaten it just bc we were hungry but not at all returning back.

Extremely Unhygienic & Unacceptable – Rotten Chicken Served
I ordered gongura chicken curry from Desi Bites, and the chicken was clearly rotten/expired. There was a strong, foul smell, and it became even worse while chewing. This was not a spice issue or personal taste, it was spoiled meat, completely unsafe to consume.
I went back to the restaurant and showed the item to the owner. I even asked him to take a bite himself to understand how bad it was. He flatly refused, yet still had the audacity to say the chicken was not expired. If the food is truly fine, why refuse to taste it?
Instead of accepting responsibility, the owner tried to brush it off and offered a replacement, but never admitted the real issue. I refused the replacement because I had lost all trust in their food quality and hygiene standards.
Serving rotten meat is a serious health risk, and the owner’s behavior made it worse. Denying the problem and acting like a customer complaint is “wrong” without even checking the food properly is completely irresponsible.
Highly NOT recommended.
If you value your health, stay away. This place lacks basic food safety, honesty, and accountability.
