Chris Hostetler….(forgive my spelling) and Yvette mgr. and the whole crew have put together maybe the nicest coffee house I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Avocado toast and apple fritter was possibly the best I’ve ever had…and we travel constantly…thanks to the staff and management for a wonderful stop.

Made a stop at Hos Coffee in Carrollton and ordered what looked like an outrageous amount of food—2 white and 2 chocolate cake pops, brownie bites, egg bites, a chai iced latte, and a chocolate espresso muffin. The truth? I’ve got four kids at home and I knew I’d be forced to share, so I came prepared.
The egg bites were hands down the best part—absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. The chai iced latte was smooth and refreshing, though next time I’ll ask for cream or cold foam to take it up a notch. The muffin surprised me in a good way—just the right amount of chocolate to make it rich without being overpowering (and I’m not usually a coffee flavor fan). The brownie bites were decent, but I prefer mine extra fudgy and chewy—these were a little more cakey.
Service was quick and they gave great recommendations.
It was a solid first visit and I’ll definitely be back (possibly with the tiny food thieves next time).

Top Notch Small Town Coffee Shop!
I discovered HOS Coffee in July 2023 while in the Carrollton area for business. This is now my go-to for coffee and lunch when I’m in the area. At the time, I thought my only options for early morning coffee were McDonald’s. I’m so glad I found this Coffee spot, as they have a great selection of drip coffees, Latte, espresso-based drinks, locally made pastries, sandwiches, and other items. The staff are always friendly and attentive and they make our drinks as fast as they can. There are always at least two people working behind the counter whenever I go there for coffee. If you are in the Carrollton area, this is the best place around for coffee. They now open even earlier in the morning.

Well what can I say. This place is a gem in the city of Carrollton. I work down here now and must say I was not expecting it to be this nice. First off the layout and atmosphere were a 10 out of 10. Very inviting and comfortable. Now let’s talk coffee. That was even better. The espresso was awesome. Smooth and delicious. The guy who made my latte was a true barista. I watched him work his science and he was spot on. Then comes the service. They were all extremely nice and wonderful to interact with. I WILL definitely be back here often. I loved it. Thanks HOS. Keep up the good work.

We googled local coffee shops off 71 when we stopped for gas driving from Cincinnati to Louisville and found this gem! It was DEFINITELY worth the 5 minutes extra to support a great local business! Prices were half of what Starbucks would charge. The staff was so friendly and fast. We had a pumpkin Danish, sugar free almond milk coffee, and Carmel macchiato with oat y, and everything was great!

Every time we visit Kentucky we love coming to this coffee shop. Everything we have tried has been absolutely delicious! 100% recommend the breakfast pizza, any pastry, and for a drink we really enjoyed the lotus energy drinks. The blended coffee was a great treat too!

Hos Coffee offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with good service and great drinks. I enjoyed both the hot caramel macchiato and the iced mocha — flavorful and well-prepared. The hot beverage wasn’t too hot on a warm afternoon, which made it pleasant to drink right away. On a colder morning, I’d probably ask for it a bit hotter. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the shop has a cozy, family-friendly vibe. It’s a great spot to meet up with friends or family. Definitely worth a visit!

Been past here hundreds of time, decided to stop and grab coffee and donuts, and both were excellent! Staff was prompt and friendly, ordered on line and it was ready when I walked in. Will definitely be back!

The baristas were cold as ice. No smiles. No welcoming, just stone cold expressions.
I think we were the only ones in there when we walked out after drinking our coffee. Not one person said a thing as we left.
