Great catfish filets on Fridays. I finally tried the Sunday buffet, and it was quite good. The fried chicken was tasty, as was the roast beef. Pie crust is as good as it gets.
Very traditional breakfasts. A must try if you’re in the area. Daily specials available.

If you have a hankering for grandma’s slow simmered, fall off the fork, melt in your mouth roast beef, look no further than the Fairview Cafe. I was fortunate to eat there two days in a row, and it was all that everyone raved it would be. The Sunday buffet packs a flavorful punch with a cold bar, chicken and noodles, fried chicken, roast beef, mashed taters, green beans and baked beans. To top it off, enjoy one of their homemade pies. The crust of the pie is just like my grandma used to make, flaky and crunchy at the same time. Choose from blackberry, peach, coconut cream, chocolate cream, strawberry rhubarb, and custard. It’s the hardest decision you’ll make today. Great staff. Close handicapped parking. The interior was renovated during COVID to make it country cute. Our bill for the Sunday buffet for three with pie and coffee, was $65.40 with 20% tip.

I looked this place up after seeing something about it on Facebook. For some reason, Google thinks I’ve been here. I haven’t. I’m only commenting to make the notifications stop. Place looks awesome though.

Went for the Sunday Buffet. Cost was $15.00 that included iced tea only. There was fried chicken, ham and meatloaf for big proteins. Other hot dishes were mashed potatoes/gravy, broccoli rice casserole, green beans, and noodles with turkey. There were various cold salad options. Slices of pie were an additional $3.00, brought one home for later. Wait staff were informative and cheerful. For the price I would say it was worth the price they were charging.

Had the catfish sandwich special but no bread. Fish was good. Light crispy bread in. No fishy taste. Fries nice and crispy. Service great. Very friendly.

For the Sunday buffet, be there as soon as they open to get a seat it’s cafeteria seating, nice frendly small town people. The food was comfort food when we were there fried chicken, roast beef, ham, chicken & noodles, green beans, mashed potatoes & gravy, a small country style salad bar(I highly recommend the broccoli salad) and definitely get a piece of pie, I had the rhubarb pie and it was delicious.
