Jennifer was very attentive, and welcoming. She made the entire experience memorable. The catfish was the best I’ve had in a long time, the hush puppies were exquisite (and I don’t like hush puppies), perfectly seasoned potato slices. Cheap beer, very very cheap specials daily (.99 cent taco Tuesday, like what?)bingo on Tuesday and Thursday with cash prizes!

Our family of eight had a fabulous meal here on an off-season (sports) Friday afternoon! I would love to come back during an OU-UT sports event…any of them! Plenty of space and TVs to enjoy a game. This is a really nice sports bar/ restaurant. They have great bar/drinking food options and regular everyday options. I was so pleasantly surprised that they had deep fried frog legs on the menu! The prices are great and the portions are HUGE! We would definitely eat here again if we are in the Norman, OK area.

This place was amazing! We had an impromptu stop after a wrestling event at OU with at least 30 people. The service was amazing, they got the food out fast, and the food was good. The owner made went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and everything was good. He even introduced us to his Super Bowl winning brother. Great time and make sure you stop in to try the WAM brisket.

We tried this place for lunch and had the .99 taco deal on Tuesday. I tried the beef, chicken and shrimp and really liked the beef tacos. We came back Wednesday around 8:30pm and it looked like they were about to close, Trey was friendly and said they were just cleaning and may close early depending on business. We got their wing deal and O.M.G!! the wings were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back.

It’s amazing to me to read these reviews. I mean come on people This is supposed to be The OU COACHES CORNER. I read how everything was so amazing and yes we had great service. And yes the Bartender certainly isn’t shy about making you a damn good drink. But listen, There’s absolutely no way on earth that I actually set there through some kind of weird pork chop tasting at times, breaded pork rib nightmare. This isn’t to put anyone down. But let me say, I couldn’t eat them. I couldn’t tell if it was actually pork ribs, or something a little freezer burnt that hopefully my pit bull will eat. Come on. $60.00? My wife ordered the chef salad. Turns out there isn’t an actual chef salad. They offer chicken in place of the ham they don’t have, and what about the eggs or the bacon or everything you expect when ordering a chef. Guys your appetizers were your first line of disappointments. Display the damn things at the very least on a bed of lettuce or something not just separated out by styrofoam. We moved here to be close to the Sooners but damn I work my butt off for my money and you know, add a couple entrees to your menu or at least just state to only eat the burger if you want to feel any sort of close to getting your money’s worth. Man we love you guys it is hard to come out and put down what needs to happen to at least insure that people aren’t pissed. My wife wanted to break it down so bad we’re not talking trash, you guys just have such a golden opportunity and to let it go like that. I imagine the Bingo is fun and I imagine your events are great but damn I was hungry . At the very least and foremost, with those drinks coming, which let let me tell you, were impressive, bring out some real smoked ribs. I mean ribs aren’t usually breaded like that. My wife has been a part of the food and bar association her entire life and begged me to let her give constructive criticism but I told her there’s no way they don’t know. They’re here, in Norman . OU. Coaches corner. I truly wish this experience didn’t go like it did but let me tell you and it pains me to say, if it wasn’t for the drinks, I’d have felt totally ripped off. I can’t imagine trying to talk my wife intoto coming back. Maybe for the Sooners. But it embarrassed me kindve. This is OUs Coaches Corner? I hope you guys take this and do what you need to do. You should be killing it but how? Serving dishes like that. There’s still a shot, this place should be the hottest place in town. Make it happen you guys. Good luck to you. SOONERS BABY!!

If you are going to close early put it on your page. Twice I’ve driven over before 10pm on a Saturday and google says open but your lights are off and the doors are locked. Not sustainable, you might as well close up shop, clearly you aren’t getting enough business, and from your reviews the business you do get don’t come back. Never again for me. Good luck.

We had an awesome experience and the owner, Corey, is an amazing guy. As a former OU player he was so fun to talk with. He and his staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. We stopped by after the Auburn game and they worked hard to get our large party seated quickly. The wings and fries were amazing and the atmosphere was so fun. Great place to watch a game and they had lots of TVs with all the games on that night. . Highly recommend checking them out. We’ll definitely be back. Boomer!!

I was there with friends on a Tuesday and to our surprise, it was Taco Tuesday, I ordered one chicken and two shrimp tacos and they were the absolute best. My friends ordered fried ribs (which they loved) and catfish (my all time favorite). I love the Coach’s Corner and it was definitely worth the 2hr drive. I picked up the tab because I wanted to treat my friends and for all three our bill was $95 because we all ordered more food to go.
