Second time I’ve been here. The staff is awesome. Always there, always asking questions. Always making sure we’re taken care of. The food is just beyond amazing. We had 5 different plates, 3 different appetizers and 3 desserts. Everything was just amazing. We will be back for sure. Thanks for the great service and better food!

What an amazing restaurant! When we walked in, we were shocked to see how big it was! The rooms were all beautiful, we ate in the sunroom, covered in fantastic tropical plants and colorful painted furniture. I had the Chicken Pecan Salad with fresh pineapple and all kinds of fruit. It was the best chicken salad I have ever had and I am 73! Beautiful presentation, delicious food, attentive waiter. Definitely go there.

Was a little confused at first. Thought we were in another restaurant we looked at, turns out they are both in the same building, just depends on where u sit. Otherwise, not a bad place. Chips and salsa were good with homemade chips, I had the shrimp fajita which came out fast and sizzling. My friend had an appetizer which loved, just forgot what exactly she had. Inside had great decor and if u ask the staff for a ghost story, they are happy to share. The building has been known to be haunted. Other restaurant is a steak house, with a menu that looked good but very pricey. We opted to stay in the area for Peppers. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Place was very clean, staff was friendly, food was good, but service was very slow. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or what, but we were there almost an hour and twenty minutes, for a group of four that had ordered four plates, to get our food. When the waitress came back to check on us, she was like “Wow, you all ate that fast,” as we were done eating, but no, we were not fast, you were super slow. Made the mistake of ordering a piece of the pecan pie, how long do you think it took to get that? It was over 10 minutes. So if you’re in a hurry, this is not the place for you. If you have time to burn, it’s great. I have no complaints about anything else.

The vibes at this place are immaculate. Incredible ambiance that made the experience worth it. It had a really cool bar with decent prices for alcohol, except my $20 martini haha, but it was very good. It just depends on what you get, like anywhere else.

Pepper’s is located inside the Double Eagle, a fancier and more expensive restaurant. If you go to Pepper’s, you sit in the indoor courtyard area (refer to photo with margarita Christmas tree). If you go to Double Eagle, you sit in one of the fancy rooms (refer to photo with pink wall and gold ceiling). I believe they have private rooms as well.
All that to say, I would just come here for an appetizer with drinks and call it a day. The ambiance alone is worth checking out.

Had two cocktails with lunch, each cocktail took about 15 minutes to get to my table even though I was one of the 10 customers around.

Wait staff is pressed, running around super busy today, got seated just after 12:30, watching them stuble around. Order taken 5 past 1:00. It’s 1:33 food hasn’t been served yet, waiter brought me two drinks lol. Good looking out. We’re a party of two and filled up on water tea and chips. My butter numb from sitting so long. Would gave more stars for the extra drink but watching other people get get served in under 30 min pissed me off. Asked for the check at 2:00 PM the only thing I didn’t have to wait forever on…

Connected to the Double Eagles this is a great place to hit up the bar and if you aren’t into the fine dining experience you can still get good food in the middle plaza. The Sangrias were good, the calamari was good, the green chile chicken Alfredo was good per my wife but she said it needed a little dash of salt. I had the lobster gnocchi’s, which were good, but definitely needed a little lemon zest but for sure some fresh chopped basil or an herb on it as it was one note and rich. As you see in the picture it was very “grey” looking and needed some life to it. We sat down quick, served quick, and were in and out in 35 minutes, exactly what we were actually looking for.

We initially weren’t pleased when we arrived for our reservation at the Double Eagle, as we were told that the room we had booked online wasn’t guaranteed, even though my aunt had reserved it months in advance to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were visiting from Houston, and my aunt knows I adore old-world gilded glamour. I did get a glimpse of the room, and it was stunning. While we understood the mix-up wasn’t anyone’s fault, we decided to stay and were seated next to a beautiful tree made of empty Patron bottles. From the appetizers to the main course, margaritas, and dessert, everything was excellent. I visit my husbands family in NM twice a year, and I’ll definitely be back. Next time, though, I’ll be sure to book over the phone to guarantee we can experience the Double Eagle.
