Food:
I tried the Eggplant with Chicken and Fried Tofu (see pictures), and both dishes were delicious. The eggplant was cooked perfectly—soft but not mushy—and the chicken was flavorful, pairing well with the sauce. The fried tofu was crispy on the outside and tender inside, making it a great appetizer or side.
Atmosphere:
The restaurant has a laid-back, homey vibe, perfect for casual dining. It’s clean, comfortable, and inviting without being overly fancy.
Service:
The staff was friendly and attentive, though not overly interactive, which worked fine for a quick and relaxed meal. Food came out in good time, hot and freshly prepared.
Value:
Portions are generous for the price, making it an excellent value for anyone craving Thai flavors without breaking the bank.
Final Thoughts:
Whether you’re a local or passing through Reno, Siam Thai Cuisine is worth the stop. With its flavorful dishes and fair prices, it hits the spot for anyone looking for authentic Thai comfort food. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!
Just ordered takeout and paid $20 for the khao soi with chicken. $20 for soup feels crazy and I felt it was a bit egregious to charge an extra $1.75 for chicken when the dish description says chicken.. I got home and realized they didn’t even include the chicken. Just writing this review because it’s getting more and more expensive to eat out and support restaurants. Please at least give me what I pay for.
I still love you, Siam Thai, I’ll give it another chance.
We also got Spring rolls and Crab Rangoon, also excellent. The Thai Iced Tea was smooth & refreshing. $1 extra for Boba, probably worth it if you like the extra texture.
Service was excellent, my only complaint about the atmosphere was not having the chili sauce available at the table, but they brought it out when I asked for some.
I’ll be back to try some of the classics
Overall we were happy and would go back to try different things on the menu.
