We were vacationing in Navarre this week and didn’t feel like waiting an hour at all the usual eateries so we decided to hit some of the local food trucks instead. I’ve seen a lot of raves for La Iguana from the locals on social media and had to try. And let me tell you they did not disappoint!!
The brisket tacos were divine! Juicy, amazingly tender, and double wrapped in corn tortillas. The street nachos were B-O-M-B! As you can see from the photos, they do not skimp on toppings. They were loaded to the brim, delicious and bursting with flavor. It was so good we went back up to the window and ordered enough tacos for dinner later. I must say, of all the places we’ve tried in the area, it was hands down the BEST food we had all week!!!

Family owned and operated with the most welcoming smiles!!! They never cease to make incredibly fresh and tasty dishes. Charcoal grilling is the way to go and you can taste that delicious flavor! You just can’t go wrong. The Carne Asada Nachos and grilled chicken quesadillas just happen to be our family fave. Great for adults and kids alike. I love that they fire up their grill everyday to grill their meats. The freshness shows in the presentation of their dishes and also in the taste. La Iguana is top notch and always makes it a great experience. Thank you for being a local staple for us!!!

Great lunch spot with tremendous tacos. Tried both the carne asada and fajita chicken. The steak and chicken were both well-seasoned. The queso and salsa were both really tasty. A must-visit place!

Amazing food! I was tired of seafood and fried stuff after a few days at the beach. Tried looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant for a while until we stumbled upon this one. Coming from a Mexican I can tell you this is genuinely great Mexican food. My only real complaint was that the chips used in the nachos were literally like middle school cafeteria vibes. The chip itself was kinda bad but everything else in the nachos were great. The tacos are super yummy and flavorful. Really kind workers who speak Spanish and a bit of English but please be patient since they get a lot of orders. Be prepared to wait a bit especially if you go around lunch time when workers call in for to go orders. They have two picnic tables where you can sit and eat your food. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go again on my next visit

Best and affordable taco truck in town. I swear they have good selection of food which tastes amazing. Their portions are bigger than the other taco trucks nearby (which costs $3-3.50 a piece for a taco). I’m telling y’all this is where you’ll get satisfied with your meal. Happy tummy, happy day.
