We had an incredible dining experience. From start to finish, the meal was delightful. We had idli, allu bonda, plain dosa and the Mysore masala dosa stood out with its rich, spicy filling that was full of flavor. The pani puri added a fun, refreshing twist with its tangy and spicy water that hit just the right notes. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service by Rahul and Sanjul. They were attentive, warm, and ensured we felt welcomed throughout our visit. The owner was also kind and hospitable, which added to the friendly and inviting atmosphere. Their prompt and friendly service made the meal even more enjoyable. A highlight was the unlimited chutney that are fresh, flavorful, and the perfect accompaniment to every dish. With its authentic South Indian flavour’s and standout service, Chennai Dosa in Paris is a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of South India. Highly recommend!

I had been travelling in France for 10 days and didn’t get to enjoy the food I like. I was running late for my train back to London but I also wanted to try the vegetarian food here. I was standing at the restaurant and someone welcomed my friend and I and they said they can get the food quickly. I sat down, order was taken quickly and literally a couple of minutes later my dosa arrived. I had seen some poor reviews among the many good reviews. I have to say I was impressed by the extremely quick service, politeness, attentiveness and pleasantness of the staff. The food was delicious(including all the sauces) and it was a joy to eat Indian food at the end of my stay in France. The food was reasonably priced being in the centre close to a major train station. Thank you for the amazingly fast service, the delicious food and the positive atmosphere. As a result of my all-round positive experience I will recommend it to others.

Chennai Dosa has now been taken over by Saravana Bhavan! We visited yesterday and were delighted to hear the news.
Our last visit to Saravana Bhavan was in August 2023 before it closed and was replaced by Arya Bhavan, which just wasn’t the same.
We had dosas, chilli paneer, samosas, and masala chai, all delicious, with super-efficient service. Anything we couldn’t finish, they kindly provided containers for us to take home.
The only downside is the cleanliness, more needs to be done to tackle those pesky flies everywhere.
That said, Saravana Bhavan in Paris is miles better than the London branches. Looking forward to our next visit!

Best dosa in town, all Indians assemble.
Gives South Indian vibe in restaurant, staff is friendly, fast service, best taste, and believe me the variety of chatneys they provide is totally the best. At last Masala chai don’t forget to order.

Very nice and affordable vegetarian South Indian restaurant in Paris. Although next to Saravana Bhavan, Chennai dosa has unique taste and cheap affordable prices. The staff was bit rude on the day we went, but everything else was good! Definitely try their masala dosa, parotta and sambar vada. Their coffee is instant coffee and not filter coffee. On the whole a good place for vegetarian food.

Paper light, crispy dosa with good amount of ghee. The sambar was amazing! The chutney is sometimes great but not all the times. Very simple and small sitting area. Not the cleanest but definitely the tastiest. Dosa so good, you’ll actually believe you are in Chennai.

This place was one of our fav Indian restaurants in Paris. This used to be good. Food is still tasty. But lately I’m not liking the cleanliness of this place. The handwash, the toilets, and the utensils aren’t looking clean at all. There are a lot of flies and I personally feel yuck looking at them walking around the table and trying to sit on the food. I don’t think I will visit them again!
