What’s not to like? The burgers are delicious and the meal deals are reasonably priced. Service is pretty fast and the employees are friendly. The star here are the beef tallow fries. They nice and thin and very crispy. And don’t forget the milkshakes, yummy. I got the Nutella one and it was impressive.

Horrible customer service skills, and Social skills.
We ordered shakes inside because when we attempted to go through the drive through all they had to say was “sorry systems down” no context, was it their card reader? Certain items on their end? Just taking 0 orders?? We parked and saw multiple people go in and out with food and shakes like normal, even some folks indoors. Went inside you see 0 employees present unlike most days I’ve been here where there is always someone visible. Kiosks inside functioning like usual card readers and cash kiosk. Which made the experience frustrating because the person over the Intercom wasn’t clear at all. They could have simply said “Our systems down we’re only taking card/cash.” Or “our systems are down but indoor kiosk are still functional”. There was 0 context to anything, or if they were even serving people.

Food is good when the order is made correctly but that’s rare. Staff needs retraining on how to read orders as they come in through door dash. I paid for 2 large drinks and received 2 small ones. Ordered 2 burgers. No toppings removed and paid for extra cheese and sauce on one of them. One burger was made without cheese and no toppings and the other burger had all of the toppings on it that should have been on the burger with 2 patties. No sauce on either burger. Receipt attached to my order was printed correctly so I’m not sure where the disconnect is. I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you are eating your meal inside and can fully inspect your order.

Today’s location was awful. The shake was the worst tasting shake that I threw out and I love shakes. The rest of the food was worse than just normal fast food. The worst fast food experience I have had in many years.

We stopped passing through. Hadn’t eaten at a steak n shake in a long time, they closed both of ours back home. It was 3 hours before closing and we were informed they were out of fries. Not out of fries we can make more. No we are out of fries totally. Disappointed but the burgers were good.
