Let’s get to the price rundown as of December ’25:
AYCE dinner is $30.95 each
Bottomless Cokes are $2.98 each
Premium meats (like marinated short rib) is a $20 upgrade each person.
Things to know:
30-40 minute wait for a table for two on a weekday night at dinner time, and that was a few minutes longer than our initial estimate. Our main server didn’t come around too often during the rush, but we flagged down other servers and they were helpful.
Two hours to eat everything you can. Don’t skimp on banchan. I wish we’d asked for more sauces and dessert. Get all of the kimchi, mandu, jalapeño, pickles, rice cake, salad, etc. as you can!
For the main course we tore through beef bulgogi, spicy pork bulgogi (it’s not spicy at all), garlic chicken, ramyun, and bulgogi fries.
Prepared items we tried, ramyun and fries, were on the cold side. I read a lot of reviews here on Google mentioning how the floors felt greasy/slippery and they are all not exaggerating. It’s really noticeable, like you’re going out grease-skating so wear appropriate footwear.
Long-ish wait, oily floor and some cold fries prevented this from being a perfect experience. Great food tho, come hungry!

I’ve been here a couple times but today was the best experience I’ve had at Gen. When coming here previously on a weekday the service was pretty slow but our server Spencer was wonderful. The food was a lot better this time around and portion sizes were generous. $20 per person for the lunch menu gives you great value. I would always recommend starting out with the Honey beef belly

We went to GEN on a Monday night around 8 pm with a group of 5 people. The wait was only around 15 minutes so it wasn’t bad. I have a soy allergy so I asked for a table with 2 grills (since we were a party of 6 anyways) and they sat us at a booth with one grill, but our server said they did have tables with 2 grills available.
The menu is pretty simple, and we did opt for the premium menu. They didn’t have 2 of the meats listed on the premium menu so that was a bummer, since it’s $20 extra.
The wagyu was exactly the same as beef belly , literally looking and tasting the same, which is disappointing. I would say opt for the $30 menu, because the additional items seem to be most often out of stock.
The meat quality was ok overall. This wouldn’t be my top 3 recommendations to anyone, but it is a cheaper eat specially for all you can eat.
They were also out of some of the sides as well, and some of the meats ran out while we were ordering.
The service was great, so I would say we have no complaints there.

5 stars all day. Came to GEN Korean BBQ on Main and had one of the smoothest KBBQ experiences I’ve ever had. Philip took care of us like a pro—friendly, fast, and on point with every request. Grills swapped before we could ask, meats timed perfectly, drinks topped off, and the banchan never ran dry. Brisket was paper-thin and buttery, the marinated short rib was legit,

First time eating at Gen, It was a fantastic experience. I absolutely loved the interactive concept of grilling the meat myself to my perfect doneness. The quality and variety of the meats were excellent. And the dessert was the perfect end: the macaron with gelato in the middle was absolutely divine! Highly recommend for a delicious meal.

There was 45 minute wait but its a sunday night cant complain. But, we wouldn’t have had the amazing service we had sunday night if it weren’t for the staff working that day. From the host, waiters and cooks. Shout out to Phil.
The selection of proteins on the dinner menu is full of unique tastes. For a dinner rush they provided the proteins we selected and never missed anything. We enjoyed our beverages and had frequent refills on the spot. And got dessert.

Our dining experience was exceptional, and the food was even more enjoyable due to the attentive and friendly servers who were always available to assist and check in with us every five minutes. We were there today for a late lunch service by Angel was AMAZING. He took care of us and was VERY NICE, and the food was very yummy, we did the premium menu and WOW its WORTH IT. The ONLY thing I did noticed that Floors are very slippery and the people that clean your table dont say excuse there arm/hands are all in your face. Other than that everything is GREAT! Once again Angel is AMAZING I saw that he was taking care of a couple of other tables never stopped checking on us with a smile. Will be back to this Location.
