This BBQ place is amazing. Open just Thursday thru Saturday. Ribs available just on Saturday. These pics are of the MJ… a baked potato covered with all the meats they have. Incredible!
You gotta love a place where the BBQ sauce is WARM when you pick up the bottle….
The staff is amazing! They are always suggesting new items I haven’t tried yet and are fast yet very patient with new customers.

Thank you for the fantastic lunch yesterday! So happy we stopped in and found you had ribs all day. It was just a whim to try your place and turned out perfect. Everything was delicious, the ribs sliiiiiid off the bones – so tender. Beans were stunning. The spicy sausage too. Best of all – everything was served piping hot! This is something most restaurants don’t do anymore. But food tastes better served fresh and hot and you understand that. You have great customer service understanding and attitude as well. Appreciate that very much. Thank you again!

Burlington has been missing good BBQ since Dillon’s. Yes Billy Sims is good too but there is a difference between franchise and some good ole hometown family owned BBQ. It’s made different! I must say Fat & Sassy sure filled the void of Dillon’s BBQ. My wife and I went there tonight for the first time and I must say the Ribs were phenomenal.!! Sweet and juicy pulled off the bone with ease. Sorry no pics too busy munchin on the goodness! The Mac n Cheese was delicious too. Ended up taking burnt ends to go for my boys to eat and holy moly those things were fantastic. I really like burnt ends and some over cook them, but Fat & Sassy hit just right! Also ordered the load tater and Mother in-law said it was good too. We will definitely be going back soon. I want to try all the goodies on the menu. People need to understand how much time and effort it takes to smoke meats and get it right and do all that with large quantities. In my opinion Fat & Sassy have Fantastic food and the atmosphere looks amazing with the new upgrades inside the building.
If you haven’t Tried Fat & Sassy, get over there and grab yourself some and support your locally family owned hometown BBQ!

The owner was our server and she was very nice. The food was average it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t all that good either. I like BBQ to have personality this had none, but it wasn’t terrible. It’s a nice atmosphere for a date, and a great place to kill time, but if your looking for amazing BBQ you would do better to fire up your own grill.

Although we went an hour before closing, the food was alright. Pictured is what we ordered(plus two water bottles)which was $39. A little steep for the quality of it. Definitely have had better BBQ. The brisket was 7/10 but the burnt ends were overdone & dry. I think if they up their portions to money ratio & offer a variety of sauces I would consider trying again.

My husband and I stopped while we were in town. The owners are very nice and the food was amazing. We had sliced brisket, Mac n chz, baked beans, pulled pork sandwich and cheesy potatoes. And let me tell you, the baked beans are hands down the best I’ve had! Make sure you try their BBQ sauce too!

We picked up a variety of meats for dinner with my parents. Ribs, pulled pork, and turkey with a family size side of cheesy potatoes. Everything was so flavorful and juicy! The BBQ sauce also delicious! Everyone loved everything. The service was also great and so helpful in talking me through portion options as we were feeding 4 adults and our son.

This was my fourth visit to Fat & Sassy, and while I’ve enjoyed it in the past, I’ve noticed a slight decline with each visit.
This time, I ordered the ribs, pulled pork, cheesy taters, BBQ rangoons, and baked beans. The pulled pork, BBQ rangoons, and baked beans remain standouts—tender, flavorful, and exactly what you’d want from a BBQ joint. However, the cheesy tasters, once my favorite side, had a strange sour aftertaste that really threw me off. I tried the ribs for the first time, and while they were okay, they didn’t quite hit the mark or stand out like the pulled pork.
I’m still a fan, but I’d love to see Fat & Sassy refocus on quality and consistency—because when they’re on, they’re really good. I’ll definitely be back, just hoping for that old spark to return.
