This McDonald’s is modern and clean, which made for a good first impression. They have four self-service kiosks along with just one traditional cash register, so it’s clearly set up to push most customers toward ordering at the kiosks.
The issue I ran into was with service speed. I ordered two ice cream cones at the kiosk and it took about 15 minutes to receive them. When I asked about the delay, the cashier mentioned she couldn’t see my order on her screen, which was frustrating since the kiosk is supposed to make the process quicker and easier.
Overall, the restaurant itself is nice and well-kept, but the delay and confusion with the ordering system really took away from the experience.

Why does it say “now serving” if the order has not been handed to me, the complete order is not ready and it’s still been made. Stop lying to get a good number or rating, have some integrity. Now serving means the order is prepared and handed to the customer.

On January 13 I purchased burgers at this location and quietly worked on my laptop for one (1) hour. At some point the manager started a private, yet rudely loud conversation with her McD staff who were sitting at the table next to me for over ten minutes. When the manager noticed me, she came over and (without “Hello”) demanded: “Do you have paperwork for your ”service dog”?” I was taken aback by the manager’s aggressive tone of voice, intimating that she didn’t believe it was a legitimate service dog. Although I am not required to present documentation, her hostile attitude scared me and I handed her my medical documents incl. official diagnosis papers for my autism spectrum disorder. She seemed surprise that I had legitimate paperwork and loudly rolled her eyes. She passed my confidential medical paperwork WITHOUT MY CONSENT on to her other staff member sitting next to my table. The manager then continued bitching that I am not allowed to sit and eat my food for longer than 30 minutes, pointing at a sign at the wall behind me. Since I am German and not an English native speaker, I had never heard the word “loitering”, but if it has to do anything with homeless people staying at McDonald’s for hours, begging people for money, not purchasing food, or sleeping with their head on the table, I definitely did not match her perception. She looked like an aggressive bulldog ready to bite someone. On January 17 I just stepped back into her restaurant to order breakfast (and surely only stay max. 30 minutes) with an online survey promo code 2 for 1 sandwiches “valid in McDonald’s locations in the U.S., according to the website. She stood at the counter when I came in – she did not greet me and had her grumpy aggressive face on again (approx. 50 years old with braces). I ordered 2 McGriddles and presented her the promo code from the McD-Voice customer survey I had completed online. The manager snarled and hissed at me that that code was not valid at her location but “only in that one McDonald’s location where I ate the food and received the receipt for the online survey.” According to the website that was inaccurate and in the past 25 years being a McDonald’s satisfied customer, that information was news to me. I asked her again if I could please apply the online promo code to my order, and she snapped back “NO!!!” She looked even angrier and more aggressive than before. I silently left the location close to tears. PLEASE sign this location’s manager up for HR classes such as humility & respect, anti-discrimination behavior towards disabled customers with service animals, and general customer-friendly professional behavior. I have worked in HR before, and this manager under my watch would have received her first verbal warning on January 13 and get terminated from her job on January 17 for her unacceptable disrespectful and discriminatory attitude.

Zero stars i order food from the MLK location and didn’t receive any food instead I received a drink with no food it say it’s open 24 hour I received a busy signal fir over an hour McDonald’s you suck and I will be contacting your corporate office for a full refund I don’t want no dam pennies because my food cost more. I just left this location. I was using my McDonald award points. I go through the drive through the points. Comes off, I get a free sausage, egg and cheese Mac griddle. It takes the points, but the cashier was still trying to charge me for the sandwich $3.79. still trying charge me at the window. I asked for the manager. She prompt the employee’s to have me to come inside. I stated, why can’t she come to the window to give Gary customer service and figure out why my points is taken off? But the system is still trying to charge me. She comes to the window, her name is Ashley, and she stated it’s nothing I can do. Unless you come inside, this is the reason why stores are losing out on profit because of the horrible customer service.

Make Ms Tia the new general manager! Sandra’s attitude is never happy I’ve never seen her crack a smile she always has a unnecessary attitude and is always sarcastically rude for nothing. Me and my family stay near here and we can’t stand having to come to this location in the am if Sandra is there. Do better this is not right put a smile on your face you don’t have to be mean every single time we come and you’re here it’s a problem!

Im totally disgusted and upset that this McDonald’s would serve me this! I couldn’t figure out why when I was drinking my coffee, I kept getting back pieces of “something” in my mouth. Look at what it was! This is a shame. Whomever served me this had to see this. You can’t miss it. I feel sick! Then I asked for a Chicken McGriddle and received an old Chicken Biscuit.

Shame on you McDonald’s on MLK for serving me overcooked nuggets that tasted so burnt that they were inedible. I spent a not-so-cheap amount on nuggets through Uber eats, and the nuggets were absolutely disgusting. They were dark, way too crispy, and they had a nasty burnt taste that was highly revolting. The only good things about my costly order were the drink and a Black Panther figurine that came along with the kids meal that was part of my order. Do better, McDs! Nobody wants to pay a costly price for food that they can’t eat.
