Brian was our server and we had a great experience. He was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu to be able to suggest items for us. A table near us had an issue with a food item and he was able to remedy the situation quickly, and the table left pleased and commented on how great of a server he was.

Our server was also the bartender and when seating us told the host “fine I’ll take them” we were there for no joke an hour and 20 minutes before getting our food. My drink had no ice and was empty. The manager had to tell him to refill our drinks and he gave her an attitude about it. She had to come back and refill our drinks and apologized for the service and comped our appetizer. If there was a way to tip the manager instead of the server we would. The service was terrible and the manager had to do his job for him. He upsold us on a “more tender and juicy” steak and it was completely dry and didn’t have any flavor. He also didn’t give us any bread and was refilling everyone else’s drinks and bringing their food out fast. We were completely ignored except by the manager. He forgot to bring out our food and the manager came out and saw we didn’t have food and she said it got cold because he forgot it and had to remake parts of the dish. Would not recommend dining in at all. If you look young they do not respect you and give you bad service. Then servers wonder why young people don’t tip. THE PROBLEM IS YOU NOT YOUNG PEOPLE!!!!!

We were seated quickly and given our menus timely. However it was 15 minutes before our waitress Brook returned to take our order. She passed by many times not seeming to be doing anything before coming back to take our order. It took 45 minutes for us to receive our food. The food was delicious, but I didn’t receive the number of shrimp she indicated to me when ordering. Was told the special was an appetizer with 8, and the full menu item by the same name was 16 shrimp. I received only 15.

Sat at this establishment for an hour and 30 minutes to be seated. To overhear the hostesses say the kitchen is bagged up. No communication, no huge crowd. Cooks just back there a hour behind. That wouldn’t be an issue if it was communicated an hour and a half before waiting to be seated. Very unprofessional, and annoying while hungry with children. Also even more annoying nothing is communicated and you just have to find out from over hearing.

We had a wonderful birthday and anniversary dinner.
All the staff members were friendly, and our server Chris was excellent! He was amiable, attentive, and especially sweet to our one-year-old whose birthday it was (brought her a birthdays Sunday and a koala-ducky). Made us feel like friends he was glad to see. It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten out and felt that the service really added to my experience (instead of just being a part of it). Thank you!
The food was also great! We had loaded fries (can’t remember the cool outback name!)—delicious, especially with the ranch. My husband and I both got combos: rare steak with Alice Springs Chicken, broccoli, and rice, and medium rare steak with ribs, sweet potato, and broccoli. The steaks were cooked just right, and we love the seasoning used. All the other food was also delicious! Broccoli was steamed perfectly. The portion sizes were excellent, appropriate for dinner and the price range: just a but too much to finish, and we were full! (Our leftovers today are sure to be a lunch-time hit.) Our daughter loved all the food as well, and we still had plenty even though we shared with her. Chocolate Thunder from Down Under was delicious! And beautiful. Our daughter loved the huge scoop of ice cream and strawberry for her Sunday. Thank you!
We had a great time. It’s been a long time since a restaurant made me want to go back to that exact place again—and we really look forward to going to Outback in Prattville again. Also I’ll be telling friends and family about our great experience.

Could’ve went to narnia and back by the time we got our food. 2hrs and 15mins to get said food. Then when the food came out it was cold, and my wife ordered a ribeye but got a sirloin. Server was trying but could’ve been better. Steak had no seasoning either, and ordered a baked potato but they said they had no potatoes then brought out mashed potatoes. Must’ve been instant potatoes with how shitty they were. Overall disgusting. Best thing was the beer.

Had a birthday dinner here recently and was good but not great. It is not Outback’s fault that there were several families visiting who let their kids run around uncontrolled and that really detracted from our birthday dinner. Our server accidentally ordered the wrong food for my date and apologized but blamed the Internet and their stylus. I am not sure if this is the normal or not but not sure I will be back to find out…
