I recently dined at LongHorn Steakhouse, and it was a solid, satisfying experience. The restaurant has a warm, rustic atmosphere that instantly makes you feel comfortable and at ease. The décor gives off a cozy, western vibe with wooden tables, dim lighting, and a relaxed, casual setting that works for everything from a family dinner to a laid-back meal with friends.
The service was excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without rushing us. It’s clear they prioritize making guests feel welcome, and it really made the experience enjoyable.
When it comes to the food, LongHorn Steakhouse does what it promises: great steak. The grilled steaks were cooked perfectly — a perfect sear on the outside and juicy, tender meat on the inside. The flavor of the steak was bold and savory, with a nice char that you can only get from being grilled right. The portion sizes were generous, and the sides were just as comforting. The mashed potatoes were creamy, the salads were fresh, and the baked bread they serve at the beginning is a nice touch — warm and soft with just the right amount of seasoning.
The meal was not overly complicated, but it didn’t need to be. LongHorn Steakhouse delivers exactly what you’d expect from a great steakhouse: quality meat, good service, and a comfortable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back for another steak soon!

The food was great and piping hot. My Strawberry Salmon salad was superb and so was the others entrees. I typically tend to favor Longhorn restaurants because even from city to city and state to state, the meals are seemingly always excellent and a great value with similar atmospheres. This restaurant did not disappoint, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

My day did not go as planned and I found myself having dinner out on New Years Day. I sat at the bar. Ashley was the bartender. She’s taken care of me before. She’s a doll to everyone she serves. The food was delicious- you can’t go wrong with the stuffed mushrooms. I was greeted by a female manager (didn’t get her name) and she was just as kind as Ashley. I will be back to Longhorns in Gainesville. Happy New Year!

I really enjoy eating at Longhorn’s, it is always friendly, clean and staffed ready to handle almost any single or group that may show up.
One of my favorited is their “Chopped Steak” It is served with onions, mushrooms and gravy. Cooked to order and served with a salad, bread and a baked potato, This makes a fine meal even for a hungry man.

My family came to Longhorn for dinner because it was my father’s favorite restaurant. This was after his burial ceremony at local Alta Vista cemetery. The staff was great, extremely patient with all of us and the food all even came out pretty much together. We were quickly accommodated when we walked in as a party of 15+ and we are thankful.

LOVE Longhorn Steakhouses! I’ve been to many and this location is consistently great along with the others. Highly recommend the grilled salmon (good sized portion) and the Renegade Sirloin dishes. As a broccoli lover, theirs is flavorful and done just right, al dente. Wine and cocktails, in my opinion, are also reasonably priced. Love the atmosphere and have never been disappointed in the service provided. It’s a go-to restaurant.

Take the extra drive and maybe try the buford location its better in every way…. 15mins to be seated because the host is makeing drinks…waiting tables and running food all waitresses pass by and maybe instead of helping the host they see a long line in the front door no help dirty tables finger prints on mirrors and walls and on the booth and tables food game out cold cause again 1 person doing multiple jobs I got the wrong steak but already waited to long to even ask for what I ordered it is what it is all steaks had wrong temp worst long horns location

Only reason I gave them 4 stars in service is because the waitress never brought me my steak sauce. Most seats were available because we arrived just after they opened. The steak was great without the sauce.. but still..
